Yep. Just move down to the next option. Dear god, please. Anyone not 100% committed to coming to play in the States should get the pass button pushed fast.

Do not have to worry about Saric because he has made it known he only plans on coming to the NBA if he plays for the Celtics or Lakers. So with that, I wish him nothing but the worse. http://boston.cbslocal.com/2014/05/30/robb-report-indicates-croatias-dario-saric-would-only-play-for-celtics-or-lakers/

The truth. This is why I really beleive AA is gone this off-season. Either he's gone now or we're keeping him for the long haul. I think we have to capitalize on how high his value is now and gain another promising young player. We can keep Jameer around as a veteran player coach type guy. Affalo is a hard worker and a really underrated player but to me, in the long run it makes most since to trade him now and help our team more in the long run.

Crazy how intense it gets on here all over pure speculation based on who we think we should draft or trade for. I would be scared to see what would happen if the posters on here all got together in 1 room and discussed this topic in person. Yikes.

It's complete BS. The Sixers are in no way trading MCW. This is about as accurate of a report from Chad Ford as when he said last year the Magic will pounce on Noel if he is available. There is a better chance of Embid falling to the Magic then MCW getting traded from Philly.

This may be a good stance to have, but it's just not any fun. :)

Yea I never understood the Giannis Hype. A freak athlete that has nothing else developed to his game. So many guys like that.
-
Idk if I would say he's by far the bigger project, but he is no doubt a project. Exum is a project as well but he will be able to get to the rim from opening night which I like.
-
I'm good on Exum too. He makes the most sense and we could look back 5 years from now and say he was the best player in the draft (I suppose that could go either way though). I too am most interested in trading affalo/Jameer/Xplayer to get back in the top 10. I would love exum, Gordon and hood. But I'm dreaming.

I don't think anyone who doesn't see Vic as our PG of the future (me included) is questioning how good of a kid he is or how hard he is willing to work. He will never be an elite PG IMO but that's not a knock on him because he's a 2 guard. He did a solid job this season running the point but I can't help but feel his skills would be better utltized playing more off the ball and I think that's why many of us want a PG in the draft. And because this draft has quite a few good looking point guard prospects I think we would be foolish not to select one with one of our picks and let Vic play his natural position.

I'm sure this has probably been posted somewhere but if not it's kind of a cool video. I never knew either of these guys (especially Smart) had this kind of athleticism. Not sure if the video loaded (stupid ipad) but it's the Marcus smart julious randle dunk off.

I wanna go on record saying if Jameer is our starting PG opening night I'm going to, we'll, I'm going to be utterly disappointed.
-
1 of them has to be because embid is going before them
-
I think there are plenty more reasons why the pacers are getting handled by the heat right now. Poor defense, poor PG play, George hasn't been "that man", LeBron is better than all of Indiana.
-
I'm surprised more people aren't talking about Rodney Hood on here. His offensive game is really nice, defense leaves a little to be desired but he's been compared to a more efficient Rudy Gay.
-
It was really more of a "dream scenario". If we actually went for him, which would be against everything we've done to this point, just to start the deal we would be parting ways with our fourth pick and who knows what else. Plus I'm sure we are not on loves "short list" lol
-
I think Jackson 7mil per is reasonable. Not sure we will be in the market (I hope not) for a PG after the draft though.
-
Amen! Now let's bring in Love.... Exum Dipo Harris Love Vuch If you believe in miracles and things that won't happen :)
-
I too would initially join the crying club, but, once again I have to think that if Rob feels that Smart is the clear cut better player over Exum (or whoever else is there), I think we have to trust his judgment over ours until he gives us reason to think otherwise. Now say Embid/Parker/Wiggins falls to 4 and we still take Smart, than I say to hell with trusting Robs judgement ;)
-
Although I like every combo. I would vote for Embid next to Vuc. That immediately becomes one of the best front courts in the NBA. You can't say the same about Exum and Dipo
-
I'm sure it will develop. It was a little upsetting that his percentage from the three point line only improved .9% from his freshman to sophomore year but it's still an improvement I suppose.
-
Good explanation and points made. I would not want to build a team around Lance, I think he is just a p solid piece.
-
Won't dispute that. He should be an all NBA defender with the ability to guard the 1 and 2 with ease.
-
I know hosting means nothing, but I love Hood at 12 assuming we get our PG a 4. I have a feeling Smart will get serious consideration from us at 4 too since apparently we love him. And Chauncey without the jump shot isn't Chauncey.
