Dwight/Foyle/Gortat (Battie) Villanueva/Cook/Gortat (Battie) Lewis/Evans Redd/Bogans/Evans Nelson/Bell i think that this trade benefits both teams...it gives everything we need, and gives Milwaukee some expirings for the future... i see at least 2 problems: 1. im not sure if Milwaukee would include Villanueva in the deal... 2. our bench is getting (somewhat) depleted

TheREALBrooksThompson 157 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 This trade makes little sense for the Magic, mainly due to the financial implications of having the vast majority of your cap room taken up by only four players for at least the next three years. There would be no bench immediately after the trade and very little chance of building even a passable bench thereafter. And it makes even less sense for Milwaukee. Not to mention that Charlie V is not the power forward need. Yes it may help that he has a decent jump shot, but we need a Boozer, I mean bruiser to beefen up the frontline. JonBoy418 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2008 I wouldn't mind Villanueva for one of our expirings and a future draft pick (considering we suck at drafting anyways). I'm not sure if the Bucks would do it, but it sounds like they're having a fire sale anyways. Michael Redd doesn't make sense for us. We already have Rashard Lewis signed to a ridiculous amount, we don't need another player with as many similarities in both game and salary.
