Game Thread: Orlando Magic @ New Orleans Hornets 1/12/11

I dont understand why Bass is so terrible at rotating. I understand that SVG's system can be complex at times, but he still messes up the simplest rotations. It's very irritating.

Jungle diet.

That's true. WE didn't see much of him last year, but Stan did. We weren't privy to all the practices last year that convinced Stan to limit his minutes. I don't think any of us can judge on his improvement as much as Stan can. As John Lennon once said, "All we are saying, is give Bass a chance", or something close to that.

Bass is JJ in a sense, but not.

He has the physical abilities but not the smarts. JJ had the smarts, but lacked the physical ability.

JJ was able to work on his game and get himself to the point that he was able to be a contributor to this team, but I,m thinking it's easier to work on the physical than the mental in this case. Who knows, maybe what he needs is a LOT of repetition to beat it into his skull?

Maybe. All I'm saying is I'd like to see what Stan can do with him. If anybody can do it, Stan can.
