I never stated that you were wrong to say his stats were in a decline. That point was not debated. I'm not sure why you seem so insecure about yourself that this point that was never disputed simply MUST BE ANSWERED. I kind of imagine you jumping up and down and stomping your feet to furtherer emphasis your point with all those repeating question marks. So, just how old are you, anyway?

This is pretty old...the spirit of my post was he's on a downward trend...you felt in necessary to point out a small technicality. Even to agree with what you said does not change the argument at all....he is still in a state of decline....does that make sense?

The point is, if you want to spout facts to support your point, please make sure they are both correct, and that you interpret them correctly. You would have been better off to just say he is on the decline. At his age, would we expect anything less? I'm not exactly sure why you are stuck on this point to be honest, no one here should have expected him to have career years as far as ppg or fg%. So, at this point, you are just arguing the obvious to try to make yourself feel better or try to make Vince look bad, which, coincidentally, has pretty much been your mission since you joined the forums.

This year isnt even half way over.

 

the decline VC has experienced is this. 98/99-05/06 Greatest dunker who will average 25+ points a game. to 06/07-08/09 older, less high flying, better shooter, who will average 21+ ppg and 5+ APG.

 

this year remains to be seen fully. So far good start, bad as of late.

so yeah hes not as quick/athletic. That goes without saying when you age from 22 years old to 32.
