the MAGICs record doesnt show how hard this team plays, most every night. man, if the teams the magic had the last 3 or 4 years would have the heart and never quit attitude this team has, they might have won a title or two. this is not a bad team, just not getting the breaks u need to be a contender. if they lose the next forty games, and still play hard and never think theyre out of any game, ill still be an ORLANDO MAGIC FAN!!!

If I've gotten this right, JJ averages 3.1 FGA in the 4th, the 2nd most shots per quater he gets, the first being the 2nd quarter where he gets 3.2 FGA. But his shooting is terrible in the 4th compared to other quarters as he shoots at 34% which is easily his lowest.
I'm not sure about the Portland game though.

bottom line......ANY TRADE THAT GOT RID OF DWIGHT HOWARD .......was good for the MAGIC!!!! they would NEVER WON ANYTHING with the turmoil and whinning he did. if it wasnt complaining....I SHOULD BE THE CLOSER AND GET EVERY SHOOT IN THE 4TH QUARTER.....it was I WANT TO BE THE STAR SOMEWHERE ELSE. he cant close for any NBA team until he learns to SHOOT FREE THROWS....quit complaining about thr REFS...PASS OUT of double/triple teams. howard is the WORST WASTE OF RAW TALENT ive ever seen.
at least VOC can and will IMPROVE IN EVERY PART OF HIS GAME......where BIG CRY BABY has reached his limits as of now.
I LOVE THIS TEAM after only 36 games more than the 7 years of howard. they play hard every game, are in most games in the 4th qt and REALLY CARE ABOUT GETTING BETTER AND BEING A TEAM, not just being a SUPERSTAR wanna be DISTRACTION. GIVE ME THE HEART AND UNSELFISHNESS OF THIS PRESENT GROUP ANY DAY OF THE WEEK over *****ing and moaning and the ME ME ME players they use to have...

While I am excited about Ish, I am most excited about JJ starting next to JRich. When Turk starts, the ball stops and dumb shots occur. When JJ starts, the ball moves, our intensity increases and our collective b-ball iq improves.
JJs playi in the last couple of games, is like when he played at Duke. you'd watch the game and redick would do nothing except try to get other players invovled on offense and then BAMMMM, he would go off and score in BUNCHES......then go back and try to get others involved. then in the end, you'd look at the BOXSCORE and REDICKs scored 20+ points, 3 or 4 rebounds and assists and you think to yourself, WHEN AND HOW DID HE SCORE THAT MANY POINTS!!!!
JJ is the TEAM PLAYER first, who will do anything to help WIN GAMES......D12 is the SUPERSTAR, but without the 14 other players on the team, the Magic will never win a championship......nor will Howard ever be the closer/team leader.....6pts a quarter/4 rebs a quarter......thats all they need from Dwight.....5 or six assists a game and he can become the SUPERMAN he thinks he is. JJ is the HEART AND SOUL of the MAGIC because even if he isnt scoring in bunches, he doing the things THAT NEVER SHOW UP IN THE BOXSCORE....taking a charge, passing the ball, or just trying to fire others up with his lack of athleticism but allout hustle on every play.

I love Jrich and have for a long time but I'd love for him to get his trade value up... he's said so himself... he can't maintain this level of play for much longer.
its sorprising that JRICH got as many looks as he did in the 2nd half. the one thing i have noticed about the magic offensive is that they dont OFTEN keep going, running plays, ect to a player that hits 2-3 shots in a row.......time and time again, ive saw other teams go to a HOT SHOOTER to build/get back into games against the Magic. 80% percent of their OFFENSE is nelson to howard.....turk to howard.....or just plan old HACK A HOWARD.
i dont mean to be skeptic but even the great BULLS teams werent GREAT until MJ found he had 4 other guys that needed to be involved......ONE MAN TEAMS dont win much but FIVE MAN TEAMS WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS

I GOING TO THROUGH OUT JUST ONE NAME THAT THE MAGIC SHOULD ADD TO THE ROSTER TO REPLACE HUGHES........HE LEADS THE D-LEAGUE IN SCORING AT 24 ppg..44.9% fg 39.4 3pt shooting.......5.7 asst pg......96.4 FT %........6ft 3inches tall.....28 years old....some NBA experience and international experience and is tough as nails. QUICK but average speed and above average basketball IQ.
im speaking olf BLAKE AHEARN........would be a PERFECT 3rd POINT GUARD and can also play the two guard.......plus, just snapped 110 consecutive FREE STREAK. at minimum salary AHEARN would be a good fit.........

True, but he kinda quit on them too. His comments before the game was almost like self fulfilled prophecy. He quit on them BEFORE the game even started! He was basically praising the Celtics, the same team that has given us so much frustration and problems over the years. Part of me also thinks it's poor offensive execution. This team is still one true starting caliber PG away from better days. Hedo is on and off with running the offense, but he is at least decent at getting others involved. We have no one else who can create shots for others or create their own shots. The team is fundamentally flawed with their strengths and weaknesses, as somebody had stated before. We are also lacking a backup big or a big to pair up with Dwight in the starting lineup. Amare type player, for instance, would kill if paired up with Dwight, and it would work if Dwight was satified with being a defensive stopper first and foremost instead of focussing so much on scoring.
I dunno. This team is lacking heart, and it shows. Dwight's uncertainty is affecting everyone for sure. If Dwight requests the trade, I don't want to quit on this season. Bring people who want to play here. Period. Karma's a b1tch. Look at Carmelo in NY and look at Denver's record. Look at Lebron losing to faithful Dirk in the Finals last year. Shaq won trophies for the Lakers, but, if I remember correctly, the O-Sentinel did run him out of town with all that weird propaganda. Karma's a b1tch then but the joke was on Orlando. We low-balled Shaq by offering him $50 million. He got a $130 million offer with the Lakers.
Orlando is right this time. Dwight is doing everything wrong. He will get bitten. Ship him to Minnesota or Toronto. See how happy he feels then so when he signs with Dallas or LA he can't get max money and will team up with old farts.

Well first we were blowing them out in the 2nd qtr.... so you have no point there.
And in the 4th QTR and all game for that matter Daniels was matched up against JJ, who has JJ's number at this point. He completely shut JJ down and frustrated him leading to a tech.
As for Anderson not playing in the second... well we were blowing them out....
As for Richardson with his gimpy knee, he had a better showing against Daniels the same guy wh has shut JJ down the past two meetings.
How about the players? When do they get called out?
JJ GOT THE TECH ON A BLOWN CALL AGAINST PETRIUS IN THE SECOND QUARTER. HE ALSO GOT SCREWED BY THE OFFICIAL SCORER WHEN HIS LOB PASS TO HOWARD, ALSO KNOWN AS ....THE ASSIST OF THE GAME.......WAS COUNTED AS A MISSED SHOT AND REB. AND STUFF FOR DH12.

THE ASSIST OF THE NIGHT, REDICK TO HOWARD......in every play by play, JJ is said to have MISSED a 9 ft FLOATER, OFF.REB. HOWARD, SLAM DUNK HOWARD. but every HIGH LIGHT I SEE plus saw it on TNT live....its an ASSIST. JJs BOXSCORE should read 2-5 FG 3-3 FT 2 RB 3(thats THREE) ASSIST.

ID LOVE TO JJ BACK IN ORLANDO but it seems to me, with the bucks, that he is going thru his first 3 seasons with the magic, all over again. hes playing with 2 of the most OVER RATED guards in the NBA. ELLIS nor JENNINGS are TEAM PLAYERS and id hate to see JJ on the bucks with either of them. the bucks coach??? has no clue of how to WIN games. i like the bucks big men, but with 2 guards that cant shoot and take 50% of the teams shoots, theres no room for a team player like REDICK. i hope he ignores any offers from the bucks and hooks up with a CONTENDER.......maybe even take a lesser offer from ORLANDO if just to mentor the younger players THAT WANT TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE GAME THE RIGHT WAY AND BECOME WINNERS.
redick may torn the over more than acceptable to some but most of his TOs are TRYING TO MAKE THE RIGHT PLAY.

THIS IS THE BEST FAN FORUM IN THE NBA and again i miss it very muich because of more of a JJ REDICK FAN than i am a magic fan.....but i love their young guns and hope this young team does very well in the future.
