No player or team options on AG’s deal either
-
Memphis’s 2018 2nd round pick via Phoenix
-
Why does Biyombo play at all? Especially on nights like tonight when no one can hit a shot, put Speights in there
-
We declined Mario’s option according to Woj
-
I think Josh Robbins mentioned he’ll help with free agent pitches next summer
-
We just hired Tracy McGrady as a Special Assistant to the CEO (Alex Martins)
-
Better for us since we’re too good to tank but maybe not good enough to make the playoffs
-
Will there be a livestream for media day like there has been in past years? If so what time?

Curious to see the money, all we know is 3 years fully guaranteed (per David Aldridge). I know he's a terrible shooter, but really good defensively. If we use him as a defensive role player (like he should be) he could fit well. If we give him a larger role he can't fill (like we keep doing with other players) it probably won't go well. Think he could be a good culture fit either way though, tough guy from a winning organization that had to fight to be in the league

Summer league isn't worth anything
-
I wouldn't say I value him less. For our team to ever have any hope in the near future he needs to be much better, so I realize and value his worth in that regard. I've just never bought into the hype with him.
Fair enough. I think the big issue is we don't have anyone close to being that star player we need. Gordon may be our guy with the highest potential but that doesn't mean he'll ever come close to reaching star status
-
All I know is if AG doesn't have this "considerably better" year, people need to start giving him legitimate criticism as he gets such a pass on here by most everyone.
Just because you value him less than most doesn't mean anyone is giving him a pass, he has obvious offensive limitations. His athleticism and defensive versatility just lends me to believe he'll be an average starter at least

Small market teams are basically just farm teams for the bigger markets a lot of the time, kinda frustrating to me
-
I don't know why people are acting like we're going straight into next season with the same roster we have today
-
Orlando's Jonathan Isaac: "I know I have a lot of untapped potential, and I feel like I went to the perfect team to untap it."
per Alex Kennedy
Isaac will wear #1
-
I like Isaac
-
Lot of mock drafts have Smith in the 8-10 range, haven't seen one recently that doesn't have us picking Isaac. I like Isaac a lot, though if we draft him hopefully we grab a good free agent PG
-
The very same.
I don't know anything about it, but the comments there say that was just an intern/analyst's board
-
I'd be ok with Smith Monk or Isaac, no real order
-
this is interesting
I guess that first workout went pretty well then if he was worth bringing in a second time.
I think at least partly it's because we hadn't hired Weltman or Hammond when Smith was here last. But still it is interesting
-
Per Woj, as compensation for Weltman, we're sending Toronto the worse of our two 2nd round picks in 2018. (Whichever pick is worse between our own pick and the Lakers pick)
-
We worked out Dwayne Bacon today apparently
-
I'm more upset the top 3 ended up what it was than us dropping to 6. I hate Boston and LA so much, it would have been a dream come true for the Lakers to lose their pick after having an awful season and for them to owe us an unprotected 1st round pick
