  1. The media will always want to see these bad - boy - concauction/if theres a will there's a way (even if its shadey) BS teams like Miami and potentially Brooklyn now, that piss everybody off and burn all their bridges, because it creates ratings and ratings equal money. Now this probably is good for the NBA as a whole, but it isn't the NBA's problem. OR the Magic's problem that Jay-Z or whoever spent a ton of money on this team and it needs a push or some awsome roster just because everyone think's they're suddenly entitled. I would do everything I could to make sure he didn't end up on that team, not really to screw the team over but just because of the principal of it. Everyone's priorities are screwed up and the Magic and DeVos specifically need to stop trying to make peoples dreams come true , sending players where they want to go because they had some kind of wet dream the night before about being the next 90s bulls somewhere else(resulting in us getting stuck with whatever crappy pieces they had to offer), just to give somebody a kodak moment. F*** that shiz.

  2. The funny thing is, he's going to BK. A team like GS wants to rent him, probably because they like the package BK has to offer. Another team will get him to BK.

Yeah, hell end up there anyway, but lets make him miserable and stick on like Milwaukee for a year or somewhere until he and every other GM can figure out how to move him to BK. ; __)

  3. And if he feels like he got screwed with the extra year he signed for he ought to be upset with his manager, not the magic. Knowone put a gun to his head and forced him to sign it, and his agent is there to help him make these decisions and make sure they are good ones and look out for his "interest". DH is a master scapegoat artist, that creates diversions of fake problems and wrong doings by innocent people and organizations to facilitate his true agenda and intentions because he knows it's screwed up and he has to find some BS cover story for everything. Seen this a million times. Say what you will about Shaq but atleast you knew where he stood, he didn't beat around the bush or try to blame the grass. This is pathetic

  4. I still don't see him being moved unless the Lakers offer Bynum. We said no to Houston when they had draft picks and then they drafted a million power forwards and we're kind of set there. The Nets don't have anything to offer.

LA and OKC are the only two teams (if OKC even jumps in) who IMO have a real shot of landing him.

If i didn't dislike the guy (DH) so much now (I can't even say his name anymore), I wouldn't mind seeing OKC benefit from his arrival. This is a team that has done everything right, no bad publicity, no huge espn interviews (Miami), no self entitlement, great management etc. Atleast it would be going towards something productive , something new, out west , that would for sure be the cornerstone of the NBA and probably return to defeat Miami and whoever else challenges them for years to come. This is my second favorite team next to Orlando also, not a close second by any means, but it doesn't sting seeing OKCget DH for me, even though I can't s tand the guy and I want him out of here.

  5. I think it's because T-Mac just flat out didn't have any help here whatsoever. He carried the Magic on his back for years until it literally gave out.

LoL. @ this ^ Yup... And as far as the LA thing goes, even if it doesn't make sense to get something in return and just let the contract for DH run out for the cap space. I think it's just one of those pride things, a lot of Orlando fans might actually feel better knowing they didn't give Shaq and Howard up for NOTHING... Bynum would put us almost back on track to where we were with Dwight honestly, this is a player a Wade or Durant of the future would want to play with in my opinion. That's a great rebuind piece (like Favors). We're going to get something nice, or a rear load of 1st round draft picks...

  6. I don't remember who in here it was that brought it up, but they mentioned Utah being a good trade partner. I agree, I think that for a player like Dwight Howard, getting Derrick Favors and some picks would be fantastic. It's too bad we can't get our hands on Derrick Favors for DH. Utah exercised its 1 yr team option on him i think yesterday... Turk is a Utah kind of player also (not cause he is white, lol) -just because they like these european bigs that can shoot. It would be even better to send DH and Turk to Utah in combination with... Well, anyone else on the team for that matter...

  7. No, you don't want that.

What you want is for me to make some arbitrary list of things I think would be useful to receive in a trade, so that you and the other people on this board can grossly misrepresent that list, and use it in a transparent attempt to tear me down, building yourselves up in the process. That was obvious the first time someone attempted it with me on this board literally years ago, and it's certainly obvious now. Also: it's bafflingly ludicrous.

I think you're just Drunk..You can't be wrong if you don't suggest ever anything lol... And god forbit someone criticizes something you post or write... All you do is criticize other peoples stuff without suggesting anything more productive, which just makes you a tool bag, not some message board superstar...

  8. It is histerical hethinks he has a shot at going to NJ. If he is traded it won't be for any of those pieces, and it probably won't be in the EAST. I am starting to think this guy is a POS and I won't miss him half as much as i missed Shaq. Time to create a new band!

  9. We'll get nothing in a S&T. Maybe a TPE or a 2nd round pick. You very rarely see big S&T deals.

I think people got it right when they said Nelson depends on the price tag. For the right price, it's worth having his energy, his leadership, his potential, his go-to-in the 4th qtr attitude. For the wrong price, it isn't worth having to contend with his streaks, lack of assists or dishes, or size.

  10. I've wanted the Magic to trade Howard for long time for one reason and one reason only; a player is not going to play to his full potential if he plays for a team he is extremely unhappy with. If he decides to stay in Orlando and turns that frown upside down because of all of the management changes ro whatever the reason, that's awsome. Regardless of his intentions, I only want him if he wants to be here, that's the only way.

  11. Everyone needs to chill out and stop telling people what to write. I dont do it, but if I wanted to ask YBR a question everyday that's my right. If YBR doesn't want to answer them he doesn't have to. And also there's been times when people have asked questions and he gave new info, so he doesn't always rush to post when he hears something.

Fair enough, i agree 100%. But you know what else, if he doesn't want to read people asking him stuff then don't join a forum where people want to talk to you - and then read it all the time and get mad as if you had no idea that was going to happen. No he doesn't have to answer, but people can ask and get no response just the same... It's a message board... I don't even know what YBR stands for, i'm just saying , regardless of who it is or what it's about, that's just common sense. More power to people who don't want to answer questions , lol.

  12. It's definitley time to pull the plug on this life support Orlando has been on for quite some time now. If Howard insists on leaving and Nelson walked, waive/trade everybody except for the last couple years of draft picks we have accumulated. Sign/trade for young - athletic players/draft picks, and continue to focus on improving the management, scouts, assistents, trainers, and ofcourse the coach. The only player besides the draft picks from the last two years and this year i would not shed is Anderson.

  13. I don't watch much college ball, there are too mny teams and players to keep track of and the turnover just seems to be a lot to me. Not knowing what the three 1st rounders out of Houston are all about, there must not have been a gem even out of the three for us not to have tried to score that deal. What I do know is going with three decent 1st round picks and the cap space it would clear to move Howard seems pretty appealing. It's too bad there wasn't a good enough option available, or else I am sure they would have acted on it.

  14. Great job of missing the entire point. There are no trade options that benefit us in the end. They all keep us from moving forward so no, people are still not "starting to realize this.". Sometimes I hate that I can read what other people think is a good idea.

Tell me about it... Where's Jon Koncak when you need him?

Edit: **You quoted a quote... lol

  15. It's good that people are starting to realize this., There is no doubt it would be better to acquire more resources for Howard then just letting him go.. I don't think there is anything unloyal about that, i care about the Magic more than Dwight and a lot of other people do to. You know, there's one thing though... If we blow it up we should probably keep Liggins.
