You know something, most people probably haven't gotten to see Ellis play very much if at all because most people don't have that league pass, and the Warriors aren't ever on TV. But they have both been around 6-7 years, 6 for Ellis 7 for IG. The thing I like about IG is 1. He's bigger - and can play G/F so he is more multifaceted and it gives us more advantage/disagvantage lineups , opponent dependent. I like the idea of having a G that can play more than just the 2But that's just me.

I hope everyone is having a nice Christmas this year. I am new to the board, but like most of you I am sure I have been a Magic fan since 1994 , and although I know how special and talented Dwight Howard is to have on our team, I am sick of him causing it to implode on itself inside out and i have a feeling i speak for quite a few people. Despite anything Otis Smith did or did not do , Dwight Howard needs to go, he is gone already mentally. Any further talk of the odds of convincing him to stay or improving the cast around him is pure nonsense, waste of time, and is only going to delay our teams getting back on the right track. The Magic should concentrate on nothing but building the Dwight-less team. The longer this change takes or the realisation of the trade needing to take place for both sides best interest, the worse will be the impact on the chances of building a chemistry without Dwight Howard. The sooner the better. Decision making is necessary. Just like keeping Lebron James in Cleveland as a desperation last ditch effort to avoid the inevitable, just take a look at how that situation really ended. Thanks
