  1. I think trading with the thunder became more realistic recently with durant getting that "young super stud" salary bump and putting thunder over cap. You've got a bunch of young studs from great drafting, there's no way you can keep them happy salary wise after a few years, they are in prime position to make some great trades with their pieces.

I would really love if we traded with okc in some form and dwight ended up there...but knowing otis, their players aren't "veteran" enough and we'll trade with the mavs :svgsad:

Yeah I'm feeling a trade with the Thunder. After we lost to the Hawks in the playoffs last season I came on the message board and said they should make a trade with OKC then. Westbrook is a top-notch player and he needs to go somewhere where he can be the star of a team. He needs to realized that in OKC, he's not going to be the star as long as they have Durant. I want to keep Dwight as much as the next man but it seems like deep down he wants to leave us.Trading with OKC would give us the star power we need to stay competive for years to come. I know people would say, "Well why would OKC trade a young stud at PG and mess with the chemistry of the team" but a player like Dwight Howard doesn't come around to often and it's much easier to replace the PG position.

    Trade Offer:

Thunder Receive: C Dwight Howard, PG Jameer Nelson, SG/SF Quentin Richardson, and Von Wafer

Magic Receive: PG Russell Westbrook, SG James Harden, C Serge Ibaka, and 2 future 1 rd draft picks

    Magic Starting lineup:

    PG: Russell Westbrook

    SG: Jason Richardson

    SF: Hedo Turkoglu

    PF: Glen Davis

    C: Serge Ibaka

    Bench:

    SG: James Harden

    PF: Ryan Anderson

    SF: Justin Harper

    SG: J.J. Redick

    SG: DeAndre Liggins

    SG: Larry Hughes

    G: Von Wafer

    PG: Chris Duhon

    C: Daniel Orton

Pretty solid team IMO, Good starting lineup and plenty of offensive firepower off the bench.

  2. I don't understand why Howard and Magic management keep a big secret of the suppossed "list" of players Dwight wants. I think that if that list is made public it may show alot more of why some decisions are made and the direction that Dwight thinks the team needs to head in.

Honestly it'd be kinda dumb to just come out publicly and tell the world who Dwight wants. It would make it that much harder to trade to a team when they know how much you want a player from their roster. Just continue to be quiet and let things flow as you try to bring in the talent that our Superstar is asking for.

  3. Kandi Kane, I just threw those names out there in the trade because those players obviously have the most value on the team.

Lavar, You're probably right about OKC but if Westbrook hasnt learned to look at Durant as the first option than it's possible that he could be on the trade block.

What do you guys think about them taking a look at Rudy Gay? Gay, Davis, and Gay would be a nice frontcourt.

  4. Since Dwight Howard supposedly "softened up" his trade demands; Who do you think they bring in to help keep Dwight in Orlando?

Here's some players who I think they may take a look at in bringing down to Orlando:

    SG/PG: Monta Ellis

    PG: Deron Williams

PG: Russell Westbrook and SG James Harden

    PG: Chris Paul

Do you fellas/ladies think we could get any of these players if Otis offers Jameer Nelson, J.J. Redick, Hedo Turkoglu and/or Ryan Anderson, along with some kind of a draft pick?

I threw in James Harden along with the trade because OKC also has Dequan Cook, Thabo Sefalosha, and Royal Ivey that play the SG position. Having Redick in the trade will give them another SG and keeping Harden would give them too many SG's. OKC would get alot of scoring back in that trade.

  5. It's not just me telling you that you are over rating Lopez.

You still haven't answered the question of "If Lopez is so good, and on a great contract, why are the Nets trying to get Nene if they can't get Dwight?"

Because they need a big man who's a better rebounder/defender than Lopez. If they get Nene they could play him at F or C and that gives you great size in your front court.

  6. I just have a feeling that Deron Williams telling the Nets he won't sign an extension is all part if his plan to join the Magic. Think about it, It forces management to make a decision on him because they'd be scared of losing for nothing at the end if the season. Orlando would then need to stand pat and make them believe that they wouldn't be willing to trade D-Howard to them. I believe that the Magic will end up trading Nelson, Turkoglu, Bass, and a 1st rd pick for Deron Williams. Then we amnesty Arenas and sign Prince, Humphries, and Earl Clark in free agency. Starting lineup: Deron Williams, J.J. Redick, Tayshaun Prince, Kris Humphries, and Dwight Howard. Bench: Chris Duhon, Ryan Anderson, Quentin Richardson, Daniel Orton, Earl Clark.

  7. Trade him to Toronto...I don't care what for

I feel you but I live in Cali. I Wouldn't hear the end of it if he got traded to the Lakers. I already got a coupla homies talking crap about how the Lakers may steal away the best 2 players in our franchises' history. Plus, Why would you want Bynum when you could get a healthy Lopez or Deandre Jordan/Eric Gordon.
