I wouldn't be shocked if the idea of this trade is serious. But the package is not right. -

11-12 Salaries Jameer-$7.3 mil Anderson-$2.2 mil Orton-$1.1 mil Outgoing-$10.6 mil Incoming- $20.4 Smith-$12.4 Hinrich-$8.0 Williams-$7.5 Outgoing-$27.9 Incoming-$18.4 Haywood-$7.6 Beaubois-$1.2 Outgoing-$8.8 Incoming-$7.5 The only way it works is if, the trade is Nelson/Orton/Anderson for Smith and the TPE for Kirk. In that case I don't think it works either. -

I did..It doesn't work -
The sad thing, is, I would normally agree with you. But name a player off our bench that is more consistent...
-
I'm not worried about depth per-say. I'm worried about players filling roles. JJ is our best spark, our X factor some nights and one of our only consistent players. To make Hedo the man off the bench is really asking for trouble. Unless Andre can still be that guy (But I haven't seen the guy play for a while.Should probably do some stat searching)
-
Josh Smith would do wonders for this team if we can get a 2 guard that knows how to play offense other than chucking threes. But w aren't getting Smoove. If we did I'd throw a party and buy all of you drinks. But it ain't happenin.
-
I just can't shake the thought of how bad our bench will be without JJ..Plus, with the amnesty clause, Hedo will be gone. I like the team, but it feels like our bench is lacking hard.
-
It's pretty obvious if Orlando does that they would need a defensive wing. Do you think if we can't sign anyone QRich could be that guy? Maybe a combo of Q and Earl?
-
There is no way Vince comes back to Orlando.
-
Hasn't he hinted at going back to 0? I know he still signs his shoes with the 0 and he goes by AgentZero. So, maybe he'll go back? Whoever was talking about last sesaon: It's obvious he was out of shape. But I feel like since the guy has already lost weight and is training hard everyday he knows this is his chance. He came into the league and under achiever and a nobody with a chip on his shoulder. I feel like that is back and he wants to show he still has it. He isn't old, and his knee can still fully recover. If SVG understands how to utilize him, and he can get in shape he is still able to be a force. About who I would use amnesty on: Turk. He is older, not motivated, doesn't care enough to get back into shape and hinders us more than helps. I like the guy, not the player. When he left the first time, that should have been it. I say he's the cut.

I don't know what it is..But I have a lot of faith in Gil. I think he is taking this very seriously and if he can perform up to his contract he won't have to re-structure it. This is pretty much a contract year for Gil. He knows it. I also think he knows that if he plays well, he can pretty much save this franchise. If he dominates again, Dwight has a MUCH higher probability to stay. Also, if he works his butt off this summer, the amnesty won't be used on him based off of the fact he is being serious. Dude's lost weight, and acknowledges he was bad all the time. I think he comes back with a vengeance.

This is the NBA...You NEVER know what's going to happen.

Repost for my little bit of "info" I know for a fact that Dwight and Vince were not really too great of friends after VC arrived. I have a friend in the organization and he said after the first few months VC was here he was not liked by too many. (I know I know, this is another "insider" thingy) But the truth is, he wasn't viewed as a great team mate, and didn't give his all in Dwight's eyes. Now on to his other friends The ones off of the top of my head are: Boozer Josh Poweill Josh Smith Carlos Boozer JR Smith Tony Battie Courtney Lee On to if we ever did trade Dwight, the only two teams I can think of (Maybe 3 I guess) would be LAC,OKC and Portland. I like Eric Gordon and DeAndre Jordan I like Russel Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka I like LaMarcu Aldridge, Wes Matthews You take those players from either team with combination of picks, cash assets and fillers I won't be so demolished if we lost Dwight. (Though I don't see Dwight leaving.) And, as far as info I know from the guy that works for Orlando, he knows more about the players personally than rumors, but he said he that JRich will not be back if that is anything for you guys.

Someone is a little behind!
-
Full of truth today my good sir.
-
Nothing really exciting or shocking there.
-
At least Otis is still looking at bigger names. Keeps hope alive.

I just can't think about trading JJ for some reason. Maybe it's because he is one of the only players on this team that seems to bring his all every game. But I am against it. Though, I can't be too picky. Otis is trying to keep the franchise player and if I had to trade JJ to do it. Then let it be done. :/

I feel cutting Hedo would be more beneficial to the team than cutting Arenas. I thought I read somewhere that Gil is working with legendary conditioning coach Tim Grover this summer. Arenas is 29 with all the ability in the world. I feel much more comfortable with him on the team than with Hedo. He is done. Hedo is unmotivated, no team will take him and he forces SVG to use him because of his pay check and past skill set. I have more faith in Gil getting healthy and being a factor than Hedo remembering how to play basketball.
