What Otis should be looking for...

Agreed but they would probably want a SG which may mean giving up JJ or Peaches.

Scratch Melo off your trade wishlist

Bit harsh, I wouldn't of said we are mediocre. Plus didn't Melo say that he didn't want to play on a team that doesn't play defense like a month ago? I think that boy's more confused than Tom Cruise.
  3. Dwight would not be seeing any of the ball.
  4. So now we want Roy and Carter on the same team? :panicworker:
  5. Lets pick up Greg Oden as well while we are at it then. <_<
  6. It'll be the same situation, we will hope he turns back to what he was but it doesn't happen.

    J. Will needs a shot at back-up PG job (Schmitz)

Just play Jameer the full 48 mins.
  8. Where do people get this? I can dig up a several quotes of Dwight saying he'll stay if you'd like.

    The Gortat Thread

Agreed. Bogut isn't a dud either.
  10. +1, I want melo as much as the next guy (could u imagine when Stan teaches that boy defense? wow) but there is no situation where we would have to take on arenas to get melo and even if there was I still wouldnt take it because Arenas will do more harm than good.
  11. I know his got 14 points at the moment but no rebounds for Noah? Wow no wonder Carter's got 4 offensive
  12. Why do we even want Arenas? To threaten the other team with guns? Or to "fire" up our own players? ....Too soon?

Jameer Nelson - Soul of the Team

I'm not trying to start it nor am I trying to say which is better but Meer looks to be looking to pass it alot more this season, his not throwing up as many shots. I could be wrong I haven't checked stats to prove this its just the way I've been seeing it

Magic's ears perked to make trades (O-Sen.)

    Year Team GP GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% RPG APG SPG BPG PPG 1999–00 Toronto 3 3 39.7 .300 .100 .871 6.0 6.3 1.0 1.3 19.3 2000–01 Toronto 12 12 44.9 .436 .410 .784 6.5 4.7 1.7 1.7 27.3 2004–05 New Jersey 4 4 44.8 .365 .316 .861 8.5 5.8 2.2 .0 26.8 2005–06 New Jersey 11 11 40.9 .463 .241 .796 7.0 5.3 1.8 .6 29.6 2006–07 New Jersey 12 12 40.6 .396 .389 .693 6.8 5.3 .9 .6 22.3 In fact every year except for last his playoff stats have been quite impressive. Dont forget suprising Vince Carter has been known to shut down Kobe Bryant as Kobe's stats against the Nets with Carter were: 08-09: 13 pts, 27%fg 07-08: 18.5pts, 29% fg 06-07: 20pts, 32%fg Dont' blow what I said out of proportion, I'm not saying its going to happen, I'm just saying it has happened in the past.

The Official talk about that team in Miami Thread

    They're his friends.

    Start JJ Reddick Thread

Did people watch the Heat game? JJ didn't win us the game, Nelson did. JJ was consistantly set up with open looks due to the driving ability of our little man who showed up for the big game.

    Iguodala

The best thing about Iguodala would be the defense he brings with him. I don't mind his 3 point shot is iffy but I haven't seen enough of him so can someone please tell me; can he play the pick and roll game? and I know he averages around 5 assists so I'm guessing he can create for others, correct?
  18. Agreed. While I think it's too early to count either team out, we have certainly looked better than Miami so far.
