Penny Hardaway is my favorite player but I wouldn't have him in my all time starting five list.

Makes sense, does what we need in the position we need. It'll be interesting to see how Atlanta go this season.

Just to touch on that, I genuinely believe this guy is already interchangeable with Draymond Green at this point in his career if they were given the same circumstances. I will accept I'm a massive homer though.

But is he what we deserve?

There were an awful lot of us that wanted Exum before the draft. If you're going to have a go at junkie's credibility I wouldn't use that as the example.

Didn't Charlotte fans boo him on draft night? Also I like him. His defense is pretty solid and his developing a reliable mid range shot. I think he tops out as a role player but that's pretty decent.

Without checking the stats my guess would be that your stats are including dunks and close range shots while the other stats are based on purely jump shots beyond 10ft? Meaning Frye is a pretty good shooter within the arc but not finisher.

Consistent is a strong word. His often hot and cold.

Had he happened to develop a 3 point game it'd go a long way for his nba career and helped us in the short term too.

Had a slow start but have you watched Wiggin's play recently?

Agree all of this but two side notes I see as small issues; Draymond Green isn't that great of a shooter and I think he wouldn't have the same success on our team compared to GSW where 90% of his threes are wide open. Secondly I'm a big fan of switching and to some degree it is already been shown on our team at the moment but an issue we need to fix is we switch too early in the shot clock which opponents are using to their advantage to create mismatches. The warriors switch well because they only do it late in the shot clock so their opponents don't have the time to post up someone like curry.

Oh god imagine if we got Jackson. Our offense would be non stop pick and rolls for Oladipo and ISOs. Jackson was able to make Harrison Barnes regress and his only good move of inserting Green into the starting lineup came due to an injury.

Pop is the best coach in the league no doubt but having the same players for number of seasons also helps.

Am I watching a different guy? Haven't watched a portland game since the finals but I always thought his biggest strength was his pick and roll game.

Green is a fine player but his a 4th option at best and can't create his own shot. He works extremely well for GSW due to the large amount of ball handlers and play makers. I think he'd be a fine fit here too but a max contract for a glue guy? I could imagine that may screw us in the long run but I haven't put enough time in to really looking at the potential consequences.

Wouldn't Gordon be the replacement? Or are you considering him as our pf? Edit: Just saw above
