I'm just happy how oladipo played. Didn't settle for as many 3 pointers. Sure he has a lot of turnovers but that's a problem for almost every rookie.

Like the trade for both. Chicago got something for deng since he was going to leave anyway and the cavs didn't give up too much.

Unfortunately there isn't too many college games on Australian tv so I don't get to see a lot of these players play so I'm not well informed on the top talents in the draft. I must admit though that my biggest concern about embiid is the trading of vuc. From how I've interpreted the comments here he seems to be the most risk and reward player in the draft. While that risk wouldn't bother me normally I feel like it essentially doubles as if he is a bust we would also have lost vuc who is still a young talented center who is continuing to grow.

I actually really like Nicholson. I can see a future for him here even in my imagery contender team. He could easily be one of those Scola like players off the bench that can provide offense for us while our starters are off as well as contribute in a role while the starters are on.

I got real mad at an article where experts chose between wade and afflalo to be an all star because they all went for wade. Reason being they said because afflalo's number weren't sustainable. I felt like that isn't a fair reason nor did any of them mention the fact that wade seems to take every second game off.

I don't know whether afflalo makes any team a sudden contender like that ray allen trade did. Hence why they were so willing to give it up. It was a bit more of a unique situation.

Problem being is if I'm not mistaken, Asik's contract sky rockets next year. If teams aren't looking to get him now they certainly won't next year.

At best though you are getting someone back who's better in the future. You won't be getting someone back as good currently.

I understand this would be for the greater good and all that and I do want us to get a good pick this season but with that being said orlando would be very difficult to watch if we didn't have afflalo this season.

Can't see okc giving up reggie. His too important for their bench and arguably the best back up pg in the league. Also anyone watched any pheonix games? I've noticed Bledsoe has put through some good box scores but was wondering how the eye test is.

I disagree. His contract only has another year after this one and for the right young talent I'd be happy to deal with it.

Bill Simmons suggested okc trades perk, lamb and two first rounders for afflalo. Love the idea bill but I don't see okc going that steep.
