I think the best thing here is just to get rid of dwight before the season is over. There is really no point trying to get something REALLY good from it because if we dont get rid of dwight now, we wont get anything.

I dont understand why you are saying that 7-8M would have been fine but 9M = definetly not. Would that 1-2M really made difference?
Lets just get real, the organization didn't trust that Ryan would be anything without Dwight. Its a shame though, because there is no way to know it now.

I have to agree with other about the megathread, it has like 400 pages now and its supposed to be only offseason. I now its supposed to keep the forums clean but it really isn't working as informative thread. It just keeps the forum clean.

Well, Durant had to do the same with the Spurs.
He has had more rest and is a bit younger though...
Durant is built like marathon runner, he wont fatigue. He spent the whole summer playing basketball instead of resting.

I would say that the fact that he has run away from the challenge of playing in the NBA at least twice and screwed us in the process would be enough for me to say that he is mentally soft.
Ofc he is not coming to nba because he is afraid.

He's walking better, doesn't have as much pain in his leg now. Mentally I think he's ok, issue was that no one was checking on him but since then Turkoglu, Nelson, Diggins and people in the front office have been in contact.
As in his future I think its up in the air right now, but the fact that he talks more about the Magic franchise rather than the Nets can't be bad

You would think year with stan should change lopez? You heard it all season how Stan put huge emphasis on Ryan to rebound more and now you see the results.

Remember when Dwight had 8 blocks in playoffs. Yeah didn't really see that kind of effort this year.
Edit. It was actually 9 and 7 blocks games.
