  1. Cry more guys

The play was drawn up for Hedo. Gil got the ball and just stood there and waited for Hedo to clear and give him the ball. No one else. Stan trusts in Hedo, don't ask why just believe that Stan knows best. Give me a f-ing break. Hedo's shot is so far off that he wouldn't be able to throw in the ocean from the beach.

Those of you who love you some Stan, need to realize that he is stuck in his ways and will not adjust no matter what. Because it is the only way he knows how to coach, PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. It's ok to be mad cause the Hawks are clearly then your pathetic team filled with one superstar and a bunch of jumpshooting bums. Richardson deserves to get suspended, what he did was very classless for a veteran whose been around the league.

You need to get the fook out, Go get a life and by all means end it. You r useless. Like the scum that sits on the bottom of shoes of people who clean out sewers.

  3. So Dwight only scored 12 on Collins in 18 minutes. Wow that is really shutting him down. That works out to be about 26-28 points for a full 40 or so minute game for DH. What bothers me is the turnovers. Dwight has got to be quicker with his moves because he is letting the guards come down and strip him of the ball. This has to be his only weakness right now. Either a quick move or a pass out to the shooters or heaven forbid a cutter to the hoop. Would do wonders for this offense.

  4. SVG won't even play Earl Clark over MALIK-FREAKING-ALLEN, what makes you think he would even consider (for what it's worth) a d-leaguer?

This was kinda the point I was making.

And, Dom (AKA Lord Xenu) I can't look them all up, but it seems that there are a few players that would be decent players in the NBA if they were given the chance. But with guaranteed contracts in the league, you have guys like Malik, Duhon, Diop, Koncak, Magliore, DeClerq, Royal Ivey, Marcus Banks, etc. all playing way too long and never being productive enough to earn guaranteed millions but they get it anyway because that is the way the NBA works. They got the playing time and showed a flash of ability even if very brief and some GM thought he was the next "thing" and signed him up. Meanwhile players who can run rings around these guys never get to show their ability in the NBA and the GM's think they can't do it on this level. And spend their whole life languishing in the minors.

As for naming players that have made it out of the D league and been productive, Gary Neal, I know europe, not d league. But, i gotta ask, how can they be productive when they don't EVER get a chance. Earl Barron has shown he can play in this league but never gets the playing time and has been back and forth from the D league to the Nba several times. There are others. Just because they haven't made it to the NBA doesn't mean they aren't good enough.

(Thanks Hibachi, I didn't have the time to look them all up.)

  5. I have been wondering when was the last player the Magic signed a player to a 10 day contract? And who was it? Seems like this team with Otis as the GM never signs a D league player to a 10 day. This year should have been a great chance to find a diamond in the rough. With all the injuries, I can't understand why this team won't sign one. Is it Otis or Stan? It could be Stan because he won't even give the young new kid Earl Clark any time on the court.

  6. Not really, shooting is mostly practised outside the games. You get so familiar with the form outside the games that it translates pretty easily to games. That's why Ray allen and other like him shoot tons of basket in practise.

I believe as a big man he probably has not put the effort in his outside shot as most guards do. But in time I think he will be pretty good. His stroke looks pretty conventional, not many moving pieces going on. With enough practice, he should fair well.

  7. Yes, he should play back up to Dwight but his energy is needed from the start and Ryan's shooting off the bench to back him up at the 4 spot would be a good compliment to Earl's game. Bass, I like the guy but still seems lost on D and his rebounding(which isn't much) and his 15 foot jumpshot does not make up for his deficiencies.

  8. This Portland game definitely proves that Earl Clark has a big big part to play. Hope to see him utilized more in the future.

He is better right now than Ryan or Brandon. Yes, I said it. And he does not have the experience they have. Can you see either drive or block or hustle like Earl? This is what this team is lacking. Thank you Earl and please resign with the Magic.

  9. I made up nothing. I have watched 99% of the Magic games in this team's history. And I have no hate for SVG. I don't understand alot of what he does, but I can't hate anybody, especially someone I never met. I don't believe he hates Earl. I never said that.

In your infinite wisdom, can you explain why Clark who is able to play 3 positions does not play in the last game when the Magic can not get a rebound to save their lives.

  10. How does SVG love Allen? He never plays the dude unless he has to. When Bass was hurt, SVG gave minutes to Clark. I don't get what the fuss is about.

The fuss, imo is basically a fear that since Clark sat in the last two games with DNP-CD's that we all don't know what is in Stan's thinking. And we are in fear that he will ride the pine once again and lose the little confidence that he had gained while Malik gets burn for some unknown reason.

I remember when JJ was raw and unproven he got some burn in a San Antonio game and scored like 15-17 pts and played good but was then relegated to the end of the bench for I believe it was about 10 games, this was in his first or second year. I pray this is not the way Clark is going to be treated. You would think that SVG would have learned from this but maybe he is just waiting for Clarks fourth year to let him play. :chairshot:

  11. Clark should get some minutes at center since Portland doesn't have a strong center that will overpower him. This should virtually eliminate Malik playing a lot of minutes.

    But SVG likes Malik.

Whats their not to like, Slow(check) Vet(check) Can't defend(check) and I here he can barbecue a heck of a brisket. :happypuppy:

  12. Well, Stan said he is starting Bass and Ryno.

This does not surprise me at all. Stan loves him some comfort zone. Heaven forbid he thinks outside the box. I can't wait till Ryan gets two early fouls and Clark comes in, oh wait I mean Malik comes in because he is a nonproven vet, better than a talented but raw Clark. Amirite

  13. Do you think that Earl's offensive abilities would have helped us to win yesterday? Our defense was pretty fine all night, we needed scoring and Hedo has bigger potential than Clark to do that.

Hedo's offense was nonexistent last night. So Yes I think Earl would have produced more plus he would have crashed the boards and given the magic more opportunities. That was really the Achilles heel in that game and in alot of games. Dwight can't get all the rebounds and against the better rebounding teams Earl is the type of player we need.

  14. I agree with you both on Bass, his inability to pass or dribble or rotate or box out or oh, you get the drift. He has been a big let down. His energy pre injury was at a much higher level. And it covered up for some of these shortcomings.

Just because Clark is young and still learning doesn't mean he is not good enough to play. He played good against Dirk, Melo and these are some of the best players in the league. But alas Stan has never played young players on a consistent level except for CLee, because at that time he did not have much else.

  15. In all seriousness, I don't think Clark has earned enough respect to take minutes away from our starters on big matchups. Not to mention in a game where you do desperate need offense, Clark is hardly the answer. . .

You guys are so damn tough to please. . . if Clark gets put in instead of Hedo and manages to have an even worse game, everyone riots about Hedo not playing. This board is about as consistent as NBA refereeing.

Would he have to be the 2nd coming to be more overrated than CLee? Are you trying to say CLee has reached that level?? As Hubie would say, OH MY

The 2nd coming of JC dingnut. geez. And the bold part of your statement really got me to laugh. When exactly has that happened?

How many rebounds or points did Hedo have? And you don't think Clark can do that, I believe he could of with his eyes closed on crutches while eating a grilled cheese.
