Durant and Westbrook have still not figured out what is a good shot. To them, they are all good and that is why they lose. Period

DH12 return to Magic? Is this even valid?

This^ In all aspects the US media is just an advertising whore whose whole basis is to hype bs stories to get more watchers. Real journalism is not found in our mainstream media. -
Philly is exploring trade offers for Okafor or Noel
fan for too long 2 replied to chosen12's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
If Noel could add bout 50 lbs. I would agree. But his pencil thin legs might collapse under the weight. -
Man's got skills!!!
-
Yes it was, I was at the the arena for game 5 the fans were intense!! I miss those crowds. Hopefully they will be back soon.

More like Nash and Curry. Lol. If hennigan believes in Payton then who am I to doubt it. That is if Rob even thinks that way, which none of us truly know.
-
Fair enough. But don't believe stats can determine worth.
-
Yes please. And Aj Hammond later. Both are ready to contribute now.
-
I never said hennigan better do anything. It takes time to build a winning franchise. He has made solid moves player wise. Coaching has not been good but the timing of his hires has not had alot of options. Luck plays a role and the skiles quitting and vogels firing is a great example of luck and timing.

Again statistics are not the only way to determine how good a player is. Potential assists is a ridiculous stat. That is all determined by how the offense is run and the players on that specific team. One players potential assists on his own team would be much different if he was playing on another team. You named 15 players with more experience than EP. With Payton you have to take that into account unless you believe he has reached his highest level.
-
Assists are weighted to whom you are passing it to ie. shooters. Do you think Payton has had the same type of shooters that Holiday has had to play with? And Holiday is injured how much? And I guess experience and a solid coach doesn't matter either. Whatever you believe and whatever stats you can dig up will not change my opinion on Payton. I am 51 years old and am not delusional, I have played, coached, and watched basketball my whole life and there is much more to a player than statistics.
-
No on teague and holiday, the rest yes u are correct. Last time I checked those were all more experienced and in better situations.

So, the defensive player of the year in college is now a bad d player, hmmm. But none of that change is on the 3 bad coaches he has had. I believe in Payton and think if he had good shooters to pass it to would be a top 5 assist man. He also was a top 3 vote getter in the rookie of the year race. Now he is horrible in your mind, hmmm. And Jrue Holiday is not a top 15 pg right NOW. Yet you want him. Name 15 point guards that are better than payton.
-
This out 150+ starters and a bad offensive scheme and in his second year and on his 3rd coach. So all in all your opinion is just that, yours.
-
He can't pass like Nash. But yes he is out of this world. His handles and shooting touch are incomparable. Even with a tennis ball sized knot on his shooting elbow. Alien???
-
Buddy Maybe lol
-
Yeah but is he Hard Nosed?
-
Because of his shooting and his court vision. He has the most potential of any of our players. He needs to physically mature. Which will naturally happen with age. If he gets traded it better b for an all star or it's a mistake imo.
-
Winslow's shot still sux and we need shooters!!!
-
So u would play them together?
-
Not impressed
-
Please no
-
Kevin Ollie or Frank Vogel, would be my choices. Ollie played in the NBA and is now coaching UConn, so he knows the NBA and knows how to coach young players. So he can relate on both levels. And Vogel has proven Winning experience. I would prefer Ollie but Vogel would not be bad either.

Wow just wow your hating doesn't help and if I could link Anderson's missing free throws in the finals I would. He is tough minded and will prove u wrong.
-
I am so so so happy. Skiles needed to go his rotations sucked and his adjustment in game were non existent. And Payton is the present and future pg of the magic!!! He will prove all u doubters WRONG period.
