Here's the difference between learning how to shoot and learning how to do anything else in basketball. If I put enough hours in I can become as good a shooter as Steph Curry or Ray Allen (no exaggeration). It doesn't matter how many hours I put in, there are mid level players that have better handles than I will ever have. Defense is the easiest thing to learn, because defense is athleticism and effort, nothing else. If you're in the NBA, you have the first part down. I don't care WHO you mention, if they're in the NBA and they don't play defense they are lazy, plain and simple. After that, while shooting takes skill, it is the easiest "skill" to learn. Handles are a whole other story.

I was talking to gporter on Facebook (he used to post here but he doesn't nearly as much). I was telling him that the role that everyone here on the forums think that Fournier will fill, I actually think that guy will be Dipo. Basically, the same way that Mo was sent away because too many guys that do the same thing as you are better than you, I think the same thing will happen to Evan. If AG is our PF of the future, and Tobes is our SF of the future, and Mario is our SG of the future, that would mean that Dipo comes off the bench. Not only is it indisputable that Dipo is better than Evan (don't even try, I will roast you), but Dipo could be both the backup PG and backup SG. He would still get "his minutes" coming off the bench. Does anyone else see this? Because apparently I'm the first guy to bring it up. Because long term, it's pretty evident that Evan doesn't have a place on this team. And that isn't a knock on him.

Considering that OKC is two years away from Ibaka being their best player, I'm ok with that.

Of course they will be, the shortest guy in their starting five is 6'6 lol. They're going to be an NBA version of last year's Kentucky team. Can't shoot over them, can't pass around them, they're just too damn big.

So he's like Melo now? Because Melo will attempt to guard guys like LeBron or Durant, but he lets people like Quincy Pondexter drop 60 on him (arbitrary player and scoring number for the fact checkers reading at home). Which if that's the case, then I stand by my take that Harden is just a better version of Melo (except for when it's crunch time).
