If it's not football, New Orleans is a terrible sports town. Nobody cares about basketball here. They didn't when CP3 was here, and they still don't. I have season tickets because they literally give them away ($200 for the whole season and it can be split into 4 $50 payments), it's embarrassing. Top 2 player in the league and nobody comes. It's not because they were playing the Magic either, it was dead on Saturday for the Warriors game (granted it was Halloween and Ozzy was headlining VoodooFest but it would have been dead either way).

It's just so obvious that these athletes are targets though. Big Ben's suit was dropped when an email was discovered from the "victim" bragging to her co-workers about having sex with Ben Roethlisberger. Kobe's accuser had saved on her mantle a condom wrapper from when she had sex with a Justin Timberlake look-a-like. Jameis' accuser (I know you know this already but for anyone else reading) was a member of a clique within her sorority called "FSU Cleat Chasers". I'm not saying so much that I'm vilifying anyone as I am saying that I have a pretty good idea about what we'll be talking about in six months.

I'd say the cutoff would be if you were on the old forum. There's not enough 06-07 people still around for them to have their own group. They're just the OGs of the board.

I was referring to long term. Dipo is obviously starting this year.

I just like the idea of Dipo playing both the backup guard positions. The experiment of him at PG might not have "worked" but he does it well enough that he would cook backup PGs. I think he could be a microwave player.

I think what that guy is failing to realize is that suggesting Dipo be the 6th man here is not a knock on him.

New Orleans is my west team so swapping rosters with them wouldn't do anything for me (since I would still be rooting for both teams lol) but if I was just a Magic fan I would absolutely swap rosters. Granted, the Magic have a core and the Pels simply have a core player (AD is the only guy guaranteed to be there long term, Jrue if he can stay healthy would be a core member as well), but that's kind of the beauty of the Pels roster. You have the heir to LeBron (best player in the league I mean) and all the cap space in the world. I'm not saying this as a Pels fan, my bias is completely removed from this. I say this merely as someone who knows a thing or two about basketball. If Kevin Durant doesn't go to the Pelicans next year he's a gotdam moron. So yeah, I would take AD and that cap space over the core that Orlando has built, even if it's a very nice core. But, luckily I get to enjoy both!
