    Note to Stan

It has been written that alonzo mourning is also considering retirement. Stan, is there anything left in mourning? I would think he is the best big man out there that would accept the vet min. to make a run in the eastern conference.

    Otis- next move prediction....

jjz your homework assignment for tonight is to research other rosters in the eastern conference.
  10. quote: Originally posted by Catman:I love Rashard, but this was a poor move by Otis to overpay THIS much. There was no need to tack on the 6th year. And there has been no explanation why it was done either. my understanding of why it was done is because other teams were offering lewis that 6th year. so if otis doesnt offer the 6th year bye bye lewis. lewis was not overpayed. as i posted in another thread, houston was begging to do it.

    Otis- next move prediction....

i look at it like this. last years starters were meer, hill, hedu, battie, and howard. back ups were arroyo, dooling, milicic, ariza. next seasons likely starters will be meer, jj, hedu, lewis, howard. backups ariza, arroyo, dooling, battie. we can match up with any team, small or big. we can start ariza in place of jj. i like this team. i think otis had a plan to keep darko but mr. cornstien screwed it up. as far as the contract for lewis, any team would have done the same thing. houston was begging to do it. if otis sits on his couch for the rest of the summer its ok with me.

  16. i dont know if anyone has posted this Heat talking trade The Heat recently has had trade discussions about Ron Artest and Corey Maggette, according to the Miami Herald ... Magic trying to clear cap room to re-sign Darko Milicic ... Bucks keeping Maurice Williams? ... Nets losing Mikki Moore? ... Rockets interested in Malik Allen ... Yaroslav Korolev will stay with the Clippers hoopshype
  17. washington is looking to trade brendon haywood 7' 27 yrs old. 4.5m. thats a choice
  18. do the magic have the bird rights to g.hill
  19. masazasm

What should we do? Think this thru thoroughly!!!!

heres a three team scenario magic send ghill(1.5m), diener(.600k), and battie(6m)=8m to phoenix phoenix sends raja bell(4.5m), diaw(2m), and barbosa(1.6m)=8m to orlando orlando sends raja bell and diaw to seattle for lewis phoenix gets g.hill and diener. which we know they want. orlando clears cap space about 6m if we keep barbosa. we already have @17m +6=23m sign darko for 8, lewis for 12(1st year) wallace for the mle+3 seattle gets a vet sg and a very good f/c in diaw does this work?
  20. seattle just recieved three sf (durant, green, and wally) i dont think they would want a sf(hedu) in return. its looking more like darko for shard. and if its a s&t wouldnt it depend on what the price is for darko that determines how much cap room we have left. if we sign lewis at 15m, salaries would have to match. darko 8m arroyo 4m bogans/dooling 3m=15m. if thats the case, i think we still have 3 million and the mle. i could be wrong?? give grant 3m? to outbid other teams? mle to who?
  21. 1. call kobes' agent you would be crazy not to. 2. v.c. his contract would be a bit more money as lewis but for less years and brings excitement to orlando 3. lewis. younger than v.c. maybe have a longer run in the playoffs 4. wallace cause we didnt get v.c. or lewis
  22. (the last one we had is off the first page) free agency begins on sun but no one can be signed till the 11th. iyo what will the roster look like in 07-08. dooling, meer, arroyo, diener carter,jj,bogans ariza, hill, garrity milicic, battie, outlaw howard, augie the funny thing is that otis admits of doing the same thing and he changes it constantly
  23. darkos first on the list. they cant do much until hes taken care of due to the cap hold. then it should be v.c then lewis imo.
