Now GS can ship us Iggy to free up cap space
Bogut. Take on his contract and a 1st or whatever
-
Every move that has occurred thus far has come out of left field. As far as I'm concerned, if we're tied to a certain player in a rumor, we're not getting him.
However, I enjoy them for conversational and hypothetical purposes.

As in Vuc and Mario for Butler?
Mahinmi
Ibaka
Gordon
Butler
Payton
Great defensive team, but puts a lot of pressure on Gordon to become Butler's Robin.
Nah, Mahinmi is a great C off the bench. Will be perfect for when Vucevic has his semi-annual ankle sprains and concussions

Whiteside back to Miami.
Dallas strikes out on a big again lol
-
I'd definitely take Bazemore over Eric Gordon
Problem is going to be Bazemore's price tag. Too many teams involved, so someone will overpay, most likely
-
A bench of Crawford and Meeks would be fun for a handful of games
-
True. Can he be traded again right away?
Ask Luke Ridnour
-
Not a bad shooter to have off the bench
-
Happens a decent amount in baseball, too

Didn't realize Allen Crabbe is an RFA. That would be a nice under-the-radar-like signing if you could pry him away from Portland.
-
Ken Berger says Ibaka was very unhappy in okc and about to request a trade
This makes me feel so much better. Something to blame the decline on
Strange. Guessing it was due to having a diminished role on offense?
-
Seems like a Jason Smith-esque guy
-
He's getting fired if we suck next season, he had to make moves.
Sounds similar to December of 2010...

Difference between GM wanting to re-sign him and not wanting to re-sign him. Rob obviously doesn't see him as a 20 mil guy, neither do I. Rather give Ibaka that money or some other free agent next year in that stacked class.
Oladipo would still make less than Ibaka if both are given their respective max contract situations iirc but I know what you mean. Depends on your value of Serge. In this market, I'd tend to lean towards Oladipo being worth the max, but I also think he was asked to do a lot on a bad team.
-
Dude,Victor "walks" next year too. Don't see why that factors in at all.
Difference between RFA and UFA

My only "issue" with the deal is the inherent risk that it entails. If Hennigan flops in FA and can't manage to swing another decent sized deal to balance the roster, this could very well blow up in his face. Right now the roster has a lot of question marks and with a bunch of other teams ready to splurge on max contracts in FA, I have my doubts. Hope I'm wrong, of course.
Ibaka 3 years ago would be great, but unfortunately (and oddly) he's shown regression... Over multiple seasons. Can Ibaka turn it around? Sure and Hennigan has shown he can swing deals that are much better than they look on paper.
I don't know, I'm just more confused than anything. Oladipo was a good player who was asked to do a lot more than he should on a bad team and that shouldn't be held against him. Hard to dislike the guy, but people still find a way so whatever. Kinda hope to see Vucevic sent elsewhere, too so Gordon can continue to develop.

3rd best on his team where the 2 better players were arguably 2 of the top 5 players in the league. On any other team he would probably have been 2nd best if not best.
His regular season was dreadful.

Who do you think Horford wants to play with more, Ibaka or Dipo? Ibaka is a household name. When his numbers Surge (pun) next year, and dipo's split in half--everyone will be happy.
When we kill free agency starting next week--everyone will be happy.
If you have Ibaka, you probably don't need Horford, FWIW.
I disagree on Oladipo in OKC. I think he'll be great there. Less focus on offense and more on what he should be: defense. His major adjustment will be learning to play off-ball.
-
Free agents will come play next to Ibaka too. No one cares about Dipo outside of Orlando fans who can't see past their own shadows.
Ibaka has never been more than the 3rd best player on his team and players will want to come to Orlando just because of him?

Your sig-gif makes it worse...
I don't post here enough anymore to really feel like changing it

Literally how I feel right now

I bet they attempt to trade Rose.
Eh, Chicago's front office is weird and the city still loves Rose since he's the hometown guy.

Sign Whiteside
Trade for J. Butler (Vuc, Pick 16 and Mario if necessary)
Sign FA PG (Conley)
Sign and trade Fournier for Gibson
Resign Smith or Dedmond
Sign G. Henderson (if we trade Mario)
Conley (25) / Payton (20) / Watson (1)
Dipo (30) / Mario or Henderson (8) / Watson (10)
Butler (32) / Mario or Henderson (14) / Gordon (2)
Gordon (26) / Gibson (15) / Smith (5)
Wihteside (28) / Smith (10) / Gibson (8)
Seems realistic.
