Not to mention his MONSTER ALLEY-OOP DUNK from CA. I thnk he got higher than D12 on that one. I like Gortat. He may be our offical back-up center next season.

He's been consistent. Everytime I've seen him play live and on TV he hustles for rebounds and bangs in the post. He has been our best back-up center since.. I can't think of a good, consistent back-up center the magic have had except maybe Danny Schayes (He had a sweet jumper.) Halftime show: 1st How Lebron dropped 50 on the Knicks. Crappy game. Doesn't everyone have huge geames against the Knicks? 2nd: Pistons vs Celtics: Well deserved. Big game. 3rd: Houston vs Indiana. Crappy game. Incredible streak by Houston but they have had a soft schedule. Wait until they play the elite teams in the West. NO MENTION ABOUT THE MAGIC GAME!!!!! NOT EVEN A QUICK SCORE!!!

I would not trade Hedo or Rashard for Arenas. Areans has been injury prone. If your going to trade Hedo or rashard, it would have to be for a major force like Lebron James. I have looked at the Cavs the next couple of years. The year Lebron becomes a FA, there will be nobody that is currently on their roster under contract. They will potentially be $20 mill under the cap. If Ferry manages to keep Lebron happy until that summer, Ferry can load up the roster with a couple of all-stars.

CA plays like a good PG for about 2 to 3 games then its like his mind flashes back to the Olympics when PR beat US. The drives he attempts you need athletic ability, which he lacks. His best season was the season he got traded to Orlando. He played under control. CA jacks shots up and makes me cringe when he goes on his dribble escapade. All he needs to do is bring the ball up and pass it to Turk, Lewis or feed Howard, set picks, and get the hell out of the way. See with CA, everyone in the NBA forgot about his game when he got traded to Orlando which is why he was successfull. Once he got scouted by the other teams, the many weaknesses in his game got exploited. The other teams try to keep the ball in CA's hands as long as possible and open the lane for him a bit to drive. When he drives he takes a real bad circus shot. I have seen him do this a million times. That's why everyone thinks he sucks. That's why SVG got ticked at him in the Phila game. He ignores plays and tries to become Isiah Thomas. For you to say his game is mature is crazy. If he were a PG with a mature NBA game, he would be the PG in the 4rth every game. There has not been a coach in the NBA he has not had a run in with: Jerry Sloan, Larry Brown, B.Hill, and now SVG. If he goes to NY, he will be boo'd off the court. He needs to play NBA summer league and not PR Olympic ball.

I see a sign and trade for Lebron in 2 years (at least that is what I hope).

If Ewing teaches Howard to shoot the J the way Ewing use to shoot, I would not consider him a big man's coach. I would consider him a GREAT coach. Ewing could be a good NBA head coach. I'm not sure about his X's and O's. But, if he picked up a guy live Del harris, Rick Carlisle, or even Brian Hill (who's great at X's and O's just not motivation) as assistants, I believe he would do very well.

I have seen Turk bring the ball up the court many times in the past. CA played 41 minutes, had 8 assists and more importantly 1 turn over. CA played a great solid game. Can CA keep this steady play? What if the Magic run off another nice win streak with CA at the helm? Last season the Magic started great w/ Nelson hurt and CA as PG. If CA plays like this the rest of the season, CA may be resigned and Nelson may become trade bait.

CA always plays well after being benched. The problem is that CA usually gets out of control after a few games. If he played level headed every night, he would be the starter with Dooling backing him up.
