Aaron Gordon needs to break out this year for the Magic to take the next step. If he doesn't, we will be looking at another top 5 lottery pick. This is exactly what I expect from the Magic, top 5 lottery pick this year. If Mario is to become a superstar, it won't be in year 1. The rest of the team is just role players, very good role players, but need that superstar (or 2) to make them contenders.

Up and coming because I would be the guy to gel it all together. Look at what Lebron did with Cleveland. LaMarcus is not Lebron but the Magic would immediately contend in the East. Why kill yourself in the West? Lakers with Aldridge will not get passed the 1st round. Spurs - Duncan and Ginobili are really old. They are not going to beat the Warriors, Grizzlies, Rockets, or Thunder Mavs - Same as Spurs Raptors - This would be a better option IMO but the cold weather... brrrrrrr.

If we are trading Vuc for essentially the 2 and 6th pick while keeping 5 then I'm sure we will be receiving some sort of bad contract.

I wouldn't mind trading down for Stanley Johnson and maybe picking up another asset.

We should have kept Skiles as our third PG rather than Literial Green.

I hope Skiles does well. The man will always be remembered for his years on the Magic and his assist record. Alvin Gentry - I have no idea why any of you would want this guy. He has just 2 seasons in which he coached his team to a winning record. The man had Grant Hill in his prime. His other good season was taking over for D'Antoni in Phoenix. Thibs - That's who I wanted but the man probably wants no part of a rebuilding team w/o a superstar on it. Besides, maybe he wants to sit out a year and relax. I would. Brooks - Same as Thibs..... I wasn't all over the Skiles bandwagon, but it took George Karl 3 coaching stints to be considered one of the NBA's best coaches of all time. So yeah, I want to give Skiles a chance and most of you that bring up the situations he took over are spot on.... When he was fired, the team was in a better position then when he got there. Let's see what he can do and hopefully the Magic's draft pick ends up being a superstar.

If you trade up to 2, it would be to draft Okafor or Towns. Then draft Winslow or Mario at 5. Then you can trade Vuc.

I want to add something about Brooks, if Harden never got traded, he would have a dynasty in his hands and most likely 1 championship by now. Do we credit him for developing Durant? Westbrook? Harden? Ibaka? Reggie Jackson? Sefolosha (however u spell it)?

I'm not sold on love. Cleveland should let him walk and pick up another guy. Besides with the rumored salary cap, they can just go out and get another star front player.

This is why I'm rooting for Cleveland. The sooner they (Bulls) lose, the faster we will know.

Not that I'm trying to defend MCW, but he is still so young. He could improve his shot. If he was already 27/28 with those numbers then yeah.
