LOL what great analogies. That's totally our organization. Sentinel story on Vogel: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/orlando-magic/os-orlando-magic-frank-vogel-reach-deal-20160516-story.html

Both > either/or.

James Harden is offically Carmelo Anthony for the Millennials. Will always be in the scoring leader race, will always be an All Star if healthy, will never have teammates who actually like playing with him, will never play a championship-winning style (outside of the Olympics). As for Vogel, I'm excited! :shard: :shard: :shard:

Well, now we at least see that my friend, the grand Twitter source was correct in principle. Just need Henny/Martins/Devos to quit dragging ass. LOOSEN THE PURSE STRINGS, DEVOS~! :shard:
-
Crap.. so we need the Lakers to not pick in the top 3 in next year's NBA Draft Lottery, basically.
-
let's pile in the chat room, suckas :shard:

I let it mull around on my DVR and finally just deleted it. It deserves it's own documentary and all that jazz, but.. I lived it like most of us all did and lived it in a very raw, senior year in high school, teenage-angsty kinda way :P
-
Three hours to go, boys. So, I'm more rooting against the Lakers than for the Magic. Probably both sad and realistic. But we'll see!
-
I dunno.. the mess Martins & Skiles has brought us has put a way bigger dent in my "Believe" than Dwight Howard leaving ever could. We're a dysfunctional joke right now just barely south of Sacramento and its hard to see how that's going to change.
-
I know the fan pretty well, and for whatever it's worth I vouch for him. He's certainly a good guy and NOT a troll.
-
Totally agree, I'm more than fine with Vogel as the next guy, particularly when you look at the other potential options out there. On some level, beggars can't be choosers. Just as long as he has a strong offensively-minded assistant. There's nothing wrong with knowing what your weaknesses are and covering them up. That goes for coaches OR players.
-
This isn't ALL Skiles' fault, but he sure didn't help himself, the players, or the organization with how he handled this whole situation between January, the end of the season, and waiting until NOW to resign instead of the very end of the season. In January in particular he should of kept his damn mouth SHUT and done his job. It's not like we didn't have a winning record in December. However. All that said: #FireAlexMartins

Breaking News: Dwight hasn't learned a THING since he left us. Quite frankly it may have gotten even worse. Any opinion to the contrary shows real ignorance to how he's actually doing in Houston these days, IMO.
-
I'm of completely mixed emotions about this for all the obvious reasons.

Congratulations everyone. We survived another Magic season. That slam dunk contest was pretty bad ass, aye? :shard:

Thanks TMF! Even though I'm a part-timer now (like Undertaker, or Hulk Hogan without the scandals) I keep coming back for the positive posters and the ocassional debates. As Lil' Sky gets older I have less and less time to watch each and every single game, HOWEVER.... Any win against the Miami Heat and the NBA's crooked zebra crew giving us their best shot is NEVER meaningless. Really enjoyed the end of this one.

This stuck out to me as mind-NUMBINGLY ignorant to me. Isn't there a way around this particular problem? Like, more admins or something? Great. I didn't even care about googling "Fournier" until I read this thread. Now I'm curious! :svgsad: EDIT: LOL apparently "Never Google" is going around as Evan's nickname now..? -
Magic win, and all us Ish Smith supporters were SO right. :shard:

LOL it didn't bother me until you mentioned it, now it's pestering the hell outta me too. :svgsad: -
This would be the easiest Stock Up/Stock Down of all time.. Too many missed free throws, too many missed lay ups/tip ins, especially in the first half.. just not enough attention to detail, to the little things. No matter who was on the court. (Pro tip to Skiles though: More Hezonja, less Watson, although Watson had some good moments here and there himself. We could have used more shooting.) It's a shame too b/c you could tell Paul George wasn't feeling his game tonight, he did what he did in the third quarter through pretty much sheer will alone. People can want this to be a defensive minded team all they want, but no team is going to win when they make a shot a foot or less from the basket.

My favorite thing about what Henny did is.. Our fan base is energized again, about the future and the present. -
Thanks for making some threes THIS year, so we actually got a pick for you. High character dude though. Loved him in Phoenix.
