It is obvious to me that the refs are not drinking the D12 juice. They do not give him any breaks in fact the call the game to his disadvantage with tic tac fouls on him while on the other end unless he has a guy hanging on his neck he doesn't get the call. Meanwhile other guys in the league get everycall. KG and Pierce get the call if you as much as look at them wrong? Is it Dwights mild mannered attitude? Is it his big smile? He needs to get serious before he is taken serious!!!!

Peaches slashes so hard that even if it takes him breaking an arm on the way to dunking on someone he will do it.

Lets not forget we are talking about very young elite athletes. IMO I don't Stan should ever be worried about the fatigue of his players. They work hard to be able to play 48 minutes. I think Stan is more worried about there mental endurance and toughness and that is probably what he is trying to improve on. Stan is a very good coach and he is very well informed on how his players are doing physically so I do not think we need to be worried about the health of the team. DO WORK STAN...BOOOOOYAAAA

Let's face it, Jameer is playing great, shots falling, turnovers down, assists up. Jameer has a great chance tomorrow to prove himself once again but I think tomorrow he needs to do it on the defensive end. If he comes out tomorrow and gets physical with CP3 and takes him out of his game I think that will show his value and potential to be a very good NBA point guard more so than what he has already shown this season. I am really looking forward to see if he takes the challenge and comes out tomorrow with a lot of effort and shows some fire on the defensive end of the floor. His scoring is great, but remember we got smoked by the other teams point guards last year in the playoffs and I think tomorrow will be a good opportunity for Jameer to work hard and get better on that end of the floor. Otis knows more than we think. Jameer is playing great.

Jameer played exactly like I hoped he would. He played tough. Not only on CP3, but I enjoyed when he would get switched up and end up guarding West and he would not give him an inch in the post. Another great game for the Magic and more importantly for the Magic they played some serious D. Props to Jameer, he stepped up to the plate and out played the best point guard in the league.

Once again, thats a good point you bring up. I don't think when we talk about defense we should be expecting to shut superstars down. This game favors the man with the ball and he will always have the advantage. I think what makes good individual defenders is the effort and the ability to not stop there man, but the ability to keep there man from getting into high percentage situations and make him work hard for his stats. Just as an example, Magic Johnson would torch the Pistons back in the day but I'm sure he would be the first to tell you that he did not look forward to playing against that very tough bad boys D.

I don't think anyone in the league can stop him, but it is possible to play good hard nose defense and still get beat. That is what I am hoping Jameer does tomorrow night. I just want to see Jameer play D with a chip on his shoulder and play tough, motivated defensive.

Watching Brian Shaw turn the ball over 10 times a game was something that I will never forget.

Are you guys serious???? Steve Nash a long with Dwight would be unstoppable. Dwight would be scoring up around 30 a night and Nash running the point would improve everyones game dramatically. Nash knows when to feed the post, when to get others involved, and I think he would deffinetley help the Magic. I also think it would help Jameer to play behind such a "SMART" pass first, TRUE POINT GUARD like Nash. I would be hesitant to give up Jameer but I would deffinitley give up Hedo for Nash.

I think a guy that would fit in perfect is Udonis Haslem of the Heat. There was some speculation about him a year or so ago and I am not sure if this is even a possiblity (I'll let you smarter people figure all that out) But he can bang inside and he has a nice mid range jump shot with I think would help keep things open for Dwight.

If the NBA doesn't start protecting one of its most valuable assets with fines and suspensions, the Magic need to bring in some real tough big men to lay the law when teams get carried away with the fouls. The better Dwight gets the harder these fouls will get and right now there is no price to pay for these cheap fouls. Noone wants to have the star on their own team getting beat up and thats what we need to start doing in return if this continues. Dwight won't make it, I'm not worried about his back, I'm worried about the broken thumb or a shoulder injury.

Would Coach Stan tell some of his players like Battie and Bogans to man up and start protecting their superstar or is that something that doesn't happen anymore in basketball?? Those two come to mind as pretty tough guys that have been in the league long enough to know how to handle something like that. Who was the last Magic player to get in a fight anyway??? Was it Keyon throwing hands with Ray Allen....that was classic.

To me the bigger issue is that Turk doesn't even try on the definsive end and it doesn't look like he even cares if he gets beat. He simply needs to look alive on that end of the floor and give more effort. I'm no JJ fan but I think he has made it a priority to try to improve on that end and I like that in a player. So whatever you want to say about JJ he is trying to get better on that end and I don't think Hedo cares enough to do that.
