If they continue to get to the rim and TRY TO FINISH we will be hard to beat. Too often they drive and kick and that creates turnovers. However, when they drive and make the correct pass to our shooters we are deadly when catching the ball and shooting in stride. Rafer, Lee, Pietrus did an excellent job of this lastnight and that is why we played so well.

The media is not criticizing him, they are saying that he should have made that shot and I 100% agree. Let's not sugar coat this, It was a pretty easy shot. IF YOU PAUSE THAT PLAY AS HE IS RELEASING THE BALL AND TAKE BETS I THINK ANYONE WOULD BET ON THAT SHOT GOING DOWN. He makes that 9 out of 10 times in my opinion and it just didn't go down this time. Great players make great plays and although Lee is becomming a pretty good player he could not handle the pressure and make that shot like he would in any other situation. No need to feel bad for him...He's a professional athlete and this is what they signed up for. Gets paid great money to be in the spotlight playing the game he loves. You got to take the good with the bad. I havn't heard anyone question the young mans character, they area simply saying that when you get that good of a look in that situation you have to take advantage. I am big fan of CLee. Pick your head up and get after it again in game 3.

This is a very good point. The Lakers don't attack the rim like Lebron did and in fact they hardly attack the rim at all and with Dwights presence down low it might not be far fetched to say that they will be reluctant to come into the lane. Ariza will attack when given the opportunity but other than him they don't have anyone that is really aggressive. Kobe is great but doesn't play the same type of game that we saw Lebron playing. Kobe is older, not as physically gifted, and would not be as effective driving to the lane with his head down. The Magic are playing maybe their best basketball of the season right now so we must give props to Stan for navigating this team to this position and for having them playing at this level at the most important time of the year. That is not easy to do.

I don't know why the NBA Defensive player of the year gets no respect but thats how it is. 5 of the 6 fouls that he picked up lastnight were questionable at best while Lebron is allowed to roam the floor while swipping and swatting at anything and everything. On the offensive end of the floor he can put is head down and fly through the lane and if noone steps up and "fouls" him it will just be an easy dunk. He is good enough as it is but I guess there is no stopping him once he drives to the lane. If you contest his shot you will get called for a foul. The three offensive fouls on Dwight were rediculous....the calls night in and night out against the Magic are starting to give me high blood pressure. I'm sure a lot of us Magic fans have the same feeling of nervousness everytime Dwight plays aggressivley, or that freak Verajao gets near him because the refs are just waiting to blow that **** whistle against Dwight. Please let me know if I have just gone crazy and am making all this stuff up or does anyway else see what I am seeing???????

The sports world has rolled out the red carpet and will now attempt to hold the Celtics hand and walk them right to the front of the line to reach the NBA Finals. The way that this team gets the benefit of the doubt in every aspect of the game from the media to the referees is disgusting. First, Rondo is now made out to be some Iversonesque point guard that is tough as nails. The reality is he is a mediocre guard at best however he somehow has gained the respect from the officials, league officials and anyone else that has authority over the NBA. He just puts his head down and goes to the basket and he will go to the line. On the other hand he now has a free pass to play dirty. First brad miller, the Heinrich. He fouls Rafer every play while he is bringing the ball down the court. Not to mention he is getting away with shoving Dwight once in the first half and was in Rafers face in the second half. I would love to say the Magic need to get tough and make a statement but the ref's nor the league will let that happen. I can see it now, a Magic player will retaliate and shove him back and get tossed from the game. I OFFICIALLY DISLIKE RONDO MORE THAN ANY OTHER PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE Second, the media is pathetic. The Magic blew the game open and then Boston played some great D to get back in the game. Both teams at one point played great and terrible, so how has this turned into a moral victory for the C's? WE WON THE **** GAME!!!!!!!!! My girlfriend who doesn't even pay attention to the games but will have a beer with me and watch while reading the latest edition of People magazine says.."Are these Boston Celtics broadcasters?, all they do is blab about how great Boston is, BOSTON BOSTON BOSTON". I can't wait to take this series from the C's. We are going to have to play very very good basketball though because everyone that has anything to do with these games is so brain washed that they will do everything in their power to make sure that the Celtics advance to the next round. This was a bad move on the part of the Sixers coach to go crying to the league officials by basicall asking them to suspend Dwight. To me it looks like a last resort tactic for a chance to win the series. He now has his players hoping that Dwight will not be able to play and mentally that is not how you want to get ready for a big playoff game. This will show when they come out flat and Dwight puts up his first 30/30 game in Philly. Dwight does not have a history of playing dirty so I don't think that the league will suspend him.

Has anyone taken a look at the video and seen what Dalembert is doing to Dwight before the elbow his thrown? It would be a penalty in the NFL not to mention the NBA. He is hunched over putting all of his weight on Dwights lower back trying to push him out of the lane. Of course there is a slap dcik official standing no further than 5 feet away watching the entire play and he doesn't make that call. WATCH THE VIDEO AND WATCH DALEMBERT THE ENTIRE PLAY...ITS REDICULOUS.

holy **** it just goes to show how bad the officiating is when it comes to Dwight. Take a look at the video before the elbow is thrown and look at Dalembert. His body is fully leveraged and has both fore arms pushing Dwight in the lower back and no foul was called??????? Seriously check out the video and watch the entire play...its rediculous.
