Very sad to see Stan go, easily the best coach the Magic have had. He'll find good offers very shortly though, too good of a coach to be left out of a job.

As somebody who doesn't live in Florida any longer (lived there for about 16 years), I second this. We need to make Amway the loudest it can be. I love to hear crowds over the commentators and how they can't dampen the noise in the arena any more than they already have. Make it loud guys.

There is an artistic element in sports, it's not 'just a job', and it's definately not real life or real war. And that's why it's so attractive, moving, inspiring, etc.
You don't keep Ayrton Senna in Formula 3 cause he's young. You get him behind the wheel of the best monocoque as soon as he gets his superlicense.
If a rookie is Lebron James or of the sorts, you just don't put him at the bottom of the ladder. You get him the ball.
Ultimately, sports are not about numbers and calculating (and lo, nothing can 'back up' this statement), a Sport has Beauty in it and it's talent that brings that to the table.

Dwight does set illegal screens
which would be a problem if every bigman in the NBA didn't set Illegal screens.
Not saying he doesn't, but to hear it over the course of the game gets pretty old.

Yeah it sucks. For people like me living in Atlanta, NBA TV gets blacked out and have to resort to watching Sports South and hear the commentators ***** about how Dwight sets illegal screens.... every 10 seconds.

Did Nelson tell the Heat bench to shut the f*ck up and then get into the face of Eddie house? Love this guy, I don't care if he got ejected. I want to see that kind of attitude from the players every game, especially in the big games. Too bad you get thrown out these days for that kind of stuff though. Thanks Stern, maybe next year you can hire some robots to play basketball since it's what you want.

I remember watching us dwindle as the Pistons swept us (seems so long ago now), but now that we're on the other side of that it feels extremely satisfying (not to the Bobcats dismay) to experience that from this end. I'm sure we all remember our own feelings when we were swept, but give credit to Charlotte cause they did give us a good fight this series whether the W or L's show of it.

Down 5 with Dwight glued to the bench and only Jameer showing up to play, with a little bit of love for Rashard too. Bobcats are playing some of the best ball they can possibly play and Larry Hughes won't get 10 points in the second half to save his life. I feel good going into the half.

I don't visit here much anymore myself, but I still keep up and watch the games as much as I can. I actually just logged in for the first time since last season and saw this thread. It's good to see the regular names still popping up here and there.
