Kings vs Magic... *Post-game reaction thread*

It's always bad news when Jameer starts hitting his shots early. Why? Because he falls in love with his shot and forgets he is our starting point guard and not our shooting guard!! So he starts chucking up shots expecting them to all go in!! Bad shot selection (among other things) killed us in the second half.

    The Orlando Magic New Name

Great idea!! Then we can call this place:
  3. Well, with Dooling logging in the backup PG minutes and Carlos being bumped from the backup position. I think its just bad news all around for Travis. That makes him the fourth string PG in Brian Hills Scheme of things!! It started tonight with him being de-activated. If Goukas did state this, it must have been just his opinion because obviously Brian Hill has other plans for Travis. He must like how he looks in a suit!

What was I thinking! I have angered the Germans! Do you have my back? Only if your a true Magic fan threw and threw!!! And if you are, of course I got your back!! Because I believe that's the reason why we all joined this message board. But it seems like that's starting to get lost these past couple of days.

(sorry I had to throw that one in for some comic relief) These guys may not be household names to just the average NBA fan, but they are definitely stars in their native lands. Is it similar to the way that David Hasselhoff is huge in Germany yet scores off the charts on unintentional comedy here in the U.S.? Careful now, we may have some Dirk fans roaming around these boards ready to pounce on someone!!

  9. Come on guys, we all the rules: "Diener can not start until he earns his playing time" I believe you can find that in Chapter III Section 1.2.5 Paragraph 2 Line 7 In the Brian Hill's "Coaching for DUMMIES" handbook. I believe the line states: "Diener can not start until he earns his playing time" There, so this entire thread is a complete waste of time. (If we don't laugh, this place is going to drive us to drink!!)

BBaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh Arroyo sucks!! BBaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh Trade everyone except Dwight!! BBaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh The coach is an idiot!!! BBaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh Everyone who doesn't agree is just a moron!! There, that should get you some hits!

Alot of his success is therefore is determined on the type of players that he is coaching. He came somewhat close in Philly (they got to the Finals) and if you look at the team it was full of lunch pail type of players. Eric Snow, Aaron Mckie, and Mutombo are hardworking consumate proffessional type of players. Larry Brown was very hard on AI and it wore the relationship thin. However they are close today. In the Olympics Iverson made a comment saying that he never appreciated Brown until he was gone. It should be pointed out as well that while Iverson was neve big on practice he always brought it on gameday. The same could be said for Detroit. Brown was very hard on Billups (to the point that Chauncey will to Dumars several times saying that he couldn't play for Brown) but in the end they managed to come to a compromise and it made Billups the player that he is today. The rest of the team was chocked full of hardnosed, tough players that busted their butts on defense and again brought it every night. The difference was that this team had considerably more talent than the Philly team and was able to match up with LA. I think alot of Brown success is determined by the pg that he has to work with. Billups and Snow were very good at doing their jobs. If you look at NY you have the complete opposite in Marbury. Here is a guy that thinks everything should revolve around him and quite frankly everything should be handed to him. It was clear before Brown even took the Knicks job that there wasn't a snowballs chance in hell of the relationship working. Looking at the rest of the roster it wasn't much better. Francis, Jerome James, and Curry are all lazy. Larry Brown did by far his worst coaching job with the Knicks. I don't want it to sound like it wasn't his fault. It is easy to see some of the reasons that it didn't work though. The roster consisted of disgruntled veterans and rookies that just isn't a roster that Brown liked to use. It wasn't a good fit. Thanks Emory! I posed this question, to bring a little attention to what is going on here. Don't miss quote me anyone, I'm not saying that Brian Hill is in the same class as Larry Brown. Let's get that straight! But if you read Emory's response, you can see that the players on a roster (talent personalities and so on) does have

It gets pretty divided on this board of who's to blame. In my opinion, there is enough blame to go around. With that said, you guys are extremely knowledgeable so I will post this question: Some say that Larry Brown in one of the best coaches that ever coached in the NBA. He has been mentioned with the likes of Phil Jackson, Pat Riley and so on. Why was it that he wasn't able to win in Philly with the coach killing Iverson, but he brought a Championship to Detroit? Then he bomb miserably with those misfits in New York. What made Detroit so different that he could easily motivate them, but he got tuned out by Iverson and the whole Knicks roster? Can you guys stop bickering for a second. LOL Someone please answer my question.

    Arroyo?!?!

He has to feed the other players and that seems to go against his playing style. Which irks me, because he has the court vision to be a good PG, but he can't seem to understand that he is on the floor to facilitate the offense! He needs to control his "ichy trigger finger"! Everything would be fine if he just goes out and does his job and gets everyone involved. But Noooooooooo Once he takes a shot, it's like a crack head taking a hit! He won't stop until you take the "pipe" out of his hands, which in this case it's the rock (no pun intended)

    Dwight blames teammates, not coach.

Keyon Dooling echoed the same sentiment when asked about whether or not the coach was to blame during last nights post game interview on WDBO. He put all the blame on the players as well, kind of makes you wonder "What the hell is going on at 1 Magic Place"!!!

Hutchence, I'm not trying to Hijack a thread but since you asked it had a picture of Brian Hill as a Caveman holding a club in one hand and a playbook in the other. It Said: Brian Hill's Offensive Philosophy... So Easy a Caveman can do it!!! www.firebrianhill.org P.S. I hope I didn't offend you cavemen on this board. Hutchence next time you see me staggering around with a Sprite and crown (every game) or Poster (sometimes), Stop me and say HI or Shut the h*ll up. I promise not to Bite... My Venting Session

I agree nbr; their overall attitude has been extremely disappointing. Just like Ball Junkie, I'm also a season ticket holder. They have been hounding us lately to hurry up and renew, but their lackluster performance is making it difficult to want to fork over my hard earned money. What ever happened to the attitude of wanting to rip out the heart out of your opponent? Like Mike Tyson once said
