The magic have some tough games on this road trip w/ the exception of seatle, so this is a big game.

we are just as good as any team in the league. we have one of the best centers (if not the best) in the league, some great perimeter scorers (Rashard and Turk), and now we have a good bench and supporting cast w/ dooling, evans, bogans, and evans. Jameer is the key to everything working out so far this season w/ his smart playmaking. I think Jameer has earned every cent of his new contract. SVG is going to be coach of the year and we will make a big run in the playoffs!

The team looks totally different w/ SVG at the helms. D12 looks like the MVP he is, Meer isn't turning the ball over, Turk hasn't had the mystery flu yet, and we are shooting the three! I'm so glad we have SVG instead of Billy Donovan. Let's just hope we can keep this play up.

I have bright house so i checked the guide on by remote for friday night but it still says jazz and lakers.

i totally agree w/ u. Mo evans is perfect for this team and is great energy off the bench. he is also just as good on defense as Trevor. cook spreads the floor and helps w/ double teams on Dwight.

Shard usually answers these types of games w/ a great game the next night. look for him to have a big game tonight vs the Heat.

I hope we KILL the Heat. i h8 everything about their team. Shaq dumped us, as mentioned before they've got 2 magic killers, and who doesn't h8 zo. Remember his comments last year about us beating the heat while they are down? maybe its time for us to play dirty.

Hi, I am lifelong Magic fan and have been viewing this forum for a while now. I finally found time to register and just wanted to introduce myself. I am a season ticket holder and have attended every game for 3 years straight now. I like where the Magic are going this year, and think they will make it deep into the playoffs. Otis Smith has done a great job at assembling the team we have now and i trust every move he makes. I am excited for a championship season this year and look forward to discussing everything about the Magic this year with everyone. THE TIME IS NOW!

I really like this move. Hopefully Cook can get a fresh start and consistent playing time w/ the Magic to revive his career. The best thing about Cook playing for the magic is we wont have to watch Pat Garrity play anymore!

Good article. This definately is a rivalry now and i hope we beat them by 50 and keep pouring it on. remember last year when we beat them by 30 something without Shaq and Wade, and Zo criticized the Magic for beating the Heat while they were down? Then he flashed his championship ring and bragged how he has one and the Magic dont. The Pat Riley incident just fueled the fire on the rivalry. Both teams want to win this game BAD!

TE] We play the Bobcats at home tonight, not saying the 'cats are a bad team, but they are no where near the level the magic are on, so the magic should get a comfortable lead on them. this should give Cook and Mo a chance to gel with the team. They can learn the plays, but there is nothing like playing them with your new teamates in game situations.

I believe PJ has hinted that he wants to stay retired. However, i think he wouldve been a great option for the Magic. As for Mo, he hasn't had much of a shot in the NBA, only playing i think 3 years. If the magic can give him a chance of consistent playing time, i think he can be what we expected Ariza to be.

i don't see why everybody is so mad about this trade. Mo Evans is everything Trevor Ariza is plus a much better shot. Brian Cook is much better than Garrity at running the floor and can shoot lights out(He's cold now). With a lineup w/ Meer, Shard, Turk, and Cook surruonding Howard, I don't think any team will have the guts to double Dwight. As for defense, Dwight makes up for any mistakes by swatting the ball.

i read in the paper that Cookie and Mo are spending the Thanksgiving at the RDV to learn the plays. Hopefully they will play b/c i want to see what they bring to the table
