  1. This has gone far enough. The Orlando Magic need to make an adjustment, stop being lazy and stop these fools. This is angering me that not guarding one person has caused us to lose the game. I know the Magic are cursed for life but they decide if they stay cursed. I'm sick, disgusted, and exhausted with these Magic Killers. This nonsense has to stop. Resistance is Futile!!!!!!!(Just wanted to see how it feels to write that out). Stats From These Abominations: Emanuel Ginoboli: 26:57 Minutes, 11-19 FGM-A, 6-9 3PM-A, 3-4FTM-A, 4REB, 5AST, 31PTS Jason Terry-----: 40:00 Minutes, 6-11FGM-A, 3PM-A, 15AST, 29pts The consequence of not playing defense on these two players cost us the game. Magic defense never switches on players and that leaves other players open. The Magic Killer for tonight, well, non other uhhhh.............. Charlie Villanueva Dan Gadzuric Michael Redd Charlie Bell Earl Boykins All of these 5 have gone off on us. Don't know who is going to bring it but they need to be guarded.

Who would you rather face in playoffs (poll)

I actually think this team can beat anyone up there. Plain and simple.

    Dooling

After he scored his career high with this team, he does'nt suck to me. How could you base him off of two games and the fact that he is rusty from that injury he just got off of.

    Trevor Ariza... Young T-Mac?

Trevor Ariza is well, a young Trevor Ariza. I don't like making comparisons of players because I think that every player not like others. Trevor obiously has more of a dunk mentality than T-Mac and could'nt shoot as well as T-mac when he was young. As mentioned earlier, no one player can be compared to any player. Everyplayer diverse.

  8. Currently 4 games under fifty percent. Figured Out By Teams? I've read an other threads that people say that teams have figured us out. Out passing is off, ball handling dead, shooting shots that are wide open won't go in, making a layup is like reading the Moby Dick, slashing and cutting is underrated on this team, some persons blind arrogance makes him not want to make natural adjustments, our owner is blind, the Magic defense is lacking heart and determination as players literally watch the opposition take open shots, and let me not forget our rotting, decomposing, and molding talent on the bench. Our have been running the defense through Dwight forever but I think everyone should be set at least 10 plays for them specifically and for others who can complete that play. Ignorance, Arrogance, and Stubbornness has drastically hurt the players emotions. I haven't seen a smile in a while. Getting Healthy Is What Its All About? Getting Healthy is what its all about? : This may be the solution but these players fail to workout and take care of their bodies to be durable on the court. They get this king of exercise at practice but do these players contribute to widening there skills and improving their health all alone. We have been really small lately because of the absence of Tony Battie and what I thought was not a serious, a thumb bone chip. Never the less, their is still the fragile Grant Hill who absolutely should not be starting for his age. The Deepest bench in the league? With all the losing that's effecting fans and players, in my opinion, I recognize this team still as the best in the NBA. All of us fans know these players can shoot the lights out but can't even hit the backboard at times. Various board members know what this team is capable of and others are just worried about their one favorite player. I would predict 70 blowouts this year If the entire team was shooting, slashing, dunking, blocking, contesting, lights out. Talent Is Not Being Utilized" Like I said above, everyone should be ran through the offense and not only Dwight. The same play has been run every game to Dwight this whole season and ran at least 5 or more times in this each game. I don't have to mention who's at fault for this. Players don't have plays that are made for their strengths. Example of talents are slashing, shooting capability, athleticism to boost crowd enthusiasm, fast breaking, and ball handling. The Magic Killers: Magic Killer (Noun) - A star or mostly role players that shoot the lights out against the Orlando Magic. Magic Killer list: Delonte West Jason Kidd Channing Frye Allen Iverson Kyle Korver Morris Peterson Michael Finley Jason Terry Luther Head Shane Battier Mike Miller Pau Gasol Eddie Jones Yao Ming Janero Pargo David West Emanuel Ginoboli Andres Nocioni Ben Gordon Luol Deng Zydrunas Illgauskas Chauncey Billups Zach Randolph Danny Granger Al Harrington Stephen Jackson Jamal Tinsley Dan Gadzuric Matt Harpring Micheal Redd Joe Johnson Josh Smith Baron Davis Tim Thomas SMUSH PARKER The Phoenix Suns Antwan Jamison Chris Kaman The Ones in bold are the worst of all. These players..........I have no idea how they only do this against us. Growing Pains -Never can get rid of the virus of turnovers -Rebounding struggles have ached and eaten team hustle -Free throws, the easiest shot ever for any player -Three point shooting has been a worst and can't get any better is making it rain. The Referees Grudges We are the number one hated target by the refs this year and in the past. Our superstars receive the fouls that a regular role player on the opposition receives. The Magic still refuse to let the referees have it with an argument technical or a ejection. "The worst officials in sports history"- O=dub. Does God Really Hate Magic Fans? We, the Magic fans, have dealt with a 19 game losing streak, the loss of great players, hurt of being up 3 games in the playoffs and being knock out by losing four in a row, the most impossible shots go in against us, our team never seems like they want to play for a full season, we have to deal with the nonsense of Magic killers, and dreadful injuries come to hurt us, we have the greatest coach in NBA history, we come up short almost every time, the laughing stock of the league, embarrassment of past losses, stresses and sobs by fans. Sigh* But boy do I love my Magic team so much that I'm still here and I still believe, the belief that we will get through the rough times and the medias view on us as a bust and ridiculous team. Thank god we have such still here. Someone on this board still praises belief no matter what happens(You know who you are). Listen up Magic players if your reading. You can hope, dream, pray, think, and predict we'll make the playoffs but in the end you have to make it happen. By Budweiser.

After reading almost everything and watching all magic games since january and my limited basketball knowledge i thought i would point out some things and you guys let me know if you are watching the same things and wondering the same thing. These in no way reflect tonights particular game. I will start with Jameer - Does anyone else notice his passes arent crisp? Have you guys noticed he doesnt keep his head all the way up scanning the court when dribbling? Is it just me or does he tend to drive straight into a double tema nad doesnt seem to know how which way to go when darko or dwight sets a pick? And what is with the head fake and then shoot? especially from the 3. DO you think you can just drive and shoot a wild shot and hope dwight gets it and you get an assist? Now Dwight - not much except that after 4 or 5 T/O's you shouldnt try to spin in the lane. Look for the pass. ALso you are not KG you cannot take many ppl off the dribble. Again where is the pass to the person cutting to the basket after they double team? better yet where is the person cutting to the basket when dwight is doubled? and why does 'oberto look like an allstar rebounder against you?? Hedo - If you are shooting 1-6 why are you not asking the coach to sit you since you obviously are struggling that night. Also why do you not cut to the basket when dwight is doubled? also where did you get the idea that a pass was doing a handoff to jameer or arroyo running past you and then they stop right behind you?? who developed that play?? Arroyo - When you have a 2 or 3 on 1 fast break why do you pull up 15ft away and shoot the ball? also when you are open 18ft out for a split second why do you shoot the ball? You are not a spot up shooter. You dont even stand still you're usually falling forward...thats even worse for your aim then falling away! Where are your're crisp passes for a point guard? At least you have protected the ball the last couple of games. Darko, darko, darko... what can i say but run through the lane to the basket when dwight gets the ball! JJ - This is the NBA you dont have to shoot every 3 point shot 6 feet behind the arc!! this isnt college anymore where you want to practice NBA 3's.... hit the screen and ball hog it every chance you get. You wont get many. And why do you always choose the wrong way to run through a screen and your man gets way too open... Keith bogans -Are you even playing the same game? Where is your cut to the basket? you float around on the outside which is good but man take it to the hole. Trevor - i cant think of anything to say Keyon - why do you drive the baseline with two defenders and then get trapped behind the glass and make a bad pass?? Like the energy though One note for B. Hill... can you please freakin play augustine!! it couldnt hurt... ALSO just for the team - why is it everytime you THINK you got fouled and didnt get the call you stand there and look perplexed with your arms outstretched while the other team is on the fast break. And what is up with turnovers?? do you guys know how to keep control of the rock? I'd make you do 20 laps around the arena (oustide in 89 degree weather)for every turnover.. and why is outlaw the only one making hustle plays?? hes 79 years old and you guys are 21!!! Does anybody else see this stuff or am i way out of line? Those thoughts were stuck in the back of your mind and you had to let them go to someone. I understand but the players don't understand.

    Show Some Emotion!!!

All I've been seeing is that the Magic have emotionless faces. They just come out their to play but barely do with the enthusiasm basketball was made for. Don't be a wuss. Get a technical and get ejected for the honor of the team and the honor of the game and for some god dang respect from the horrible referees! Just don't do it in a way that would effect the kids. Something the these players don't do is let out a wail or scream or taunt or do some hand jesture just like "THE ROC" sign or something. Show me you're having fun!!! Try to dunk on someone or show me the happiness. The bench is'nt all that elated about watching the game either. Standup and get the crowd going. You guys aren't alone. Its 5 against 5 million around the world or more. Shows us you care by dancing when winning. Don't let this losing effect you joy and admiration for the game. Magic starters, feel freet to try and make the game as entertaining as possible. Don't lay it up dunk it and wail, scream, or stick your tongue out after your play and get back on D while you're doing it. I don't care if you'll get a technical for doing such gloating things but it need to be done to remove the frown off of our faces.

Sorry thebestbet12, we've been going at this for 3 months straight and we can't seem to change the coaches acts as much as he has heard from us from others that are part of this organization. Welcome to the board but whatever you do, don't start a post on any specific player because you will get jumped by their avengers.

POLL and Dicussion: Magic Guards vs. Magic Fowards

With the combination of the best Foward/Center combo in the league(Dwight Howard, Darko Milicic, Trevor Ariza, Grant Hill, Hedo Turkoglu, Tony Battie, Bo Outlaw, James Augustine) and the youngest and talented guards(Keyon Dooling, Keith Bogans, Carlos Arroyo, J.J. Redick, Jameer Nelson, and Travis Diener) you may wonder to the thought of why we aren't winning. One of these two groups are not living up to their jobs. MAGIC GUARDS PROBLEMS: Jameer Nelson: Jaming Jameer fails to make wide open shots and does'nt make necessarily good plays. He does not use slashing to his advantage when he knows he can take anyone off the dribble. His freethrow percentage is incredibly low for a point guard and his turnovers are mind boggling. Said to be a shooting guard in a point guards body but his passing skills are underated and sometimes overrated because he passes whiile jumping and does'nt pass that often to be known as one of the leagues "better" point guards. Carlos Arroyo: Most of this season, Carlos Arroyo has been selfish overall and has the greatest pass capablity from what I've seen 'if' he passes. Assist ratio is down and that slump has left some fans to think he is non other than a point guard that won't accept his backup role. He has the capablity of shooting threes which I haven't seen eversince the drought and his midrange has been off lately. Fails to make wideopen shots practically most of the time Travis Diener: He does'nt even deserve the blame but he deserves playing time. He is equally skilled to the other point guards in my opinion but needs a season to prove it. Known as a shooter and possibly Steve Nash's second coming even though he is still in the NBA. He has great passing skills on the break but due to his unselfishness, he barely gets his opportunity to shoot. Keyon Dooling: Said to be a sorry player when he makes excellent plays on defense and could be an answer to our offense. Dooling is an underrated slasher who does'nt utilize that slashing capability(0-10mph to the basket and past the defender and can dunk it that fast). Keyons mid range shooting and three point shooting has been overall off on the whole season but not the last game. His free throw shooting has lowered this year. The Defense is great but he could do better on offense if he received that opportunity. J.J. Redick: In a few games, his shooting was off but overall is a 40 percent three point shooter and second on the team in that category. Known as a draft bust in the media but everyone on this board knows that the media does'nt actually know whats going on. Defense is nearly average but has gone to stretches where he is a manacan looking at a guard dash pass him. Offense is reliable and can be consistent with more years to come in the NBA. Redick has not been given the opportunity to probe himself due to lacking minutes. Learn the ways of the Rip and the Reggie. Keith Bogans: "An animal" someone has called him but his minutes have been cut down because of...... Very consistent three point shooter and can make his free throws. Keith bogans has gotten into feuds with the team's......... Bogans has not posed a problem overall but is lacking athleticism. He can do the D though. He's known as one of our three defensive stoppers. Guards Overall: They fail to hustle and handle the ball like a guard should. These guards in particular don't crash the long defensive boards and at least attempt to snatch an offensive board. I've seen no consistent fire from them and the D has been "ghastly" and unbelievably idiotic from them. They simply watch as the oppositions leading scorer shoots an open shot even though they have time to get to that player and contest the shot before its released. These players mishandle the ball leading into turnovers such as carries, travels, opposing opponent steals, stepped on the line, and even offensive fouls. They force the issue(Passing the ball to the double team fowards when they know the defensive is ready to intercept and steal the ball. These guards have failed to make a traditional 80-85 percent free throw percentage. Inconsitency proves that they have been American off the court(Lazy and not working out to get in shape). *****That was a long post but not to insult the guards, just to point out what their problems are. I will post my anaylsis on the fowards and centers tomorrow.
