Anyone else concerned about Dwight's injury?

I'm not concerned. Dwight is Iron Man.

    Lee should start imo.

    gortat??

Battie has been playing great basketball so I don't see Gortat getting much playing time. Although, SVG did play Cook for a few minutes last game and he did terrible. Maybe he will play Gortat instead this time.

Fans Game Thread - Magic vs. Celtics 12/1

Tony Allen is no Magic Killer, if you remember one of last year's meetings, he missed a point blank lay-up that would've won them the game. A win is going to be tough with a lot of our key guys out, but our bench and role players have stepped up and taken the load. There are a lot of doubts about the Magic bench. If we can win this game hopefully it can silence some of the critics.

Give us a number then. How many games does he have to play well before he's allowed a bad game? Give us a specific number. I'm dying to hear your opinion on this. ****, I can't express my opinion on here without everyone freaking out. I don't have a specific number, I am just tired of getting my hopes up on Jameer finally being a great player and then being let down. After the let downs its just harder for me to trust Jameer and consider him a consistent player, that's all. Ok, then who on the team is a consistent player as you define it? Nobody right now, except maybe Battie off the bench, although that doesn't mean I am not pleased by how we are playing. quote: lol... relax.. no one is freaking out... Lol.

Stat-wise he has been consistent, but throughout the game he hasn't. For example, our last game (loss against Rockets), he played great in the first 3 quarters, but, when it came to the all-important closing of the game at the 4th, he went back to not being aggressive, not making the right decisions, and put up some bad shots. He's still got some work to do before I can agree and say he is playing with consistancy. I agree. It's unforgivable for a player to have a bad quarter. I'm sorry, I thought the qualification of being a consistent player is playing consistently throughout the duration of the game. There's a difference of consistent stats and playing consistent games. Okay then, if you want to define consitency as pertaining to the entire duration of a game, who in the league is considered consistent? Everyone goes through stretches in games of missing shots. The big picture here, is Jameer's tendency to play great for a few games, then do an about face and turn into a completely different player for another stretch of games. Not wether or not he had a bad quarter against Houston, at home, the night after playing in Indiana and winning in overtime. A few good games in a row isn't considered consistent anyway. It's a start and I am glad he's improving, but he's still hardly a consistent player. He's had a stretch of good games in the past and just goes back to being mediocre, I am hoping he can keep it up because I think he is getting too much praise too early in the season.

  12. Again, why is Bogans and not Pietrus in?
  13. C'mon Jameer, just when I start having a little faith in you and you force 2 bad shots. Don't get so ****y/hot headed and keep moving the ball around.
  14. Why is Bogans in the game to close? Haven't we gone through this before?
  15. Holy crap Hedo, can't even pass the ball.
  16. HEDO IS TERRIBLE. I want my Hedo the Hero back.

He is too good to be sitting on the bench. We need to get Barea on our team. Good player, kind of short though, but he could definitely also help out in getting some of our crowd back.
  18. Can't blame the refs. We've gotten away with a few hacks in there. We need our guys to step up big time, especially Hedo.
  19. Just came on to post... Anthony Johnson is terrible... I miss Dooling/Arroyo.

    Tinkering, not overhaul needed.

Dallas is looking to move players, I say we try to get Barea and upgrade at the backup PG.

    Nelson Criticism Unjustified - Hoopsworld

Nelson, learn to be consistent, stop making dumb turnovers, and improve your defense, then I will believe.

Gortat leading Blocks per 48 Minutes

I'm a pretty big Gortat fan, but Battie is playing some pretty good basketball, and I don't see SVG playing another big man from the bench unless there is an injury.
