Payton or Dipo off the bench with that lack of spacing.
-
Oladipo is a bit ball dominant and Hezonja has flashed some point forward abilities. Bev could do what George Hill did for Vogel.
-
I'm on team Deyonta Davis.
-
McGee. Lopez was the better acquisition 4 years later.
-
Only 209 lbs as well
-
He's Al-Farouq Aminu right now.
-
What makes him different from 10.4/6.3/1.6 in 28.7 minutes on the 95-96 Timberwolves that only won 26 games? Oh yeah, context.
-
Only problem is our best offensive player is in the post and we have inconsistent shooters (though potentially good ones).
-
Turner's career TS is under 50 percent. Almost 10 percentage points lower than Afflalo's.
-
I like Vonleh a lot so I would be okay there, but I would be scared of Marcus Smart.
-
Exum has massive defensive potential with his length and quickness. Him and Dipo would be devastating.
-
Wiggins and Parker are the only wings that are guaranteed top 5. Outside of Embiid, you have Randle, Exum, Smart, Vonleh, Gordon at those positions.
-
I could live with that. Big fan of Exum and Warren would bring a nice scoring punch off of the bench.
-
Exum is a bigger faster Smart
-
I've been anti-Smart for a while. Great intangibles and measurements but his offense needs a ton of work.

No. Wallace has one of the worst contracts in the league.

Official 2013 Southwest Airlines Orlando Pro Summer League Thread

Because they have so much money tied up in key players that they need dirt cheap guys to fill out the roster, so it's a good chance for someone to latch on. Ian Clark is pretty good, surprised no one took a flier in rd 2. -
I'd rather have Afflalo as well, but Redick can be the Danny Green to Crawford's Manu Ginobili. Jared Dudley is also a very solid player so I understand why they took this deal.
-
Crawford is an instant offense, ball in his hands scorer that is only good off of the bench. JJ can start, play off of the ball, and has become a solid defender. Great move for the Clippers.
-
The only consensus is that there is no consensus

Jameer is at the end of his career. You draft a guy like Siva to develop him for down the road.

Magic Going All In For Chris Paul's Backup?
Tank Vogel replied to Jagsfreak27's topic in Orlando Magic Forum
Because it still has an effect on how teams draft. -
It's easier to develop consistent range then it is to teach the kind of defense they would play. Bledsoe and Oladipo have the percentages albeit on limited attempts and are 23/21 respectively. Harkless is only 20 and should fall somewhere between a Paul George and a Trevor Ariza.

There is a difference when you have a player like Duncan who is far and away better than everybody else. You don't pass on a Shaq or a LeBron or a soon-to-be Wiggins to reach for a position of need. Atlanta Hawks desperately needed a PG in 2005 but they passed on Chris Paul and Deron Williams because Marvin Wiliams was highest on the board and had all the upside in the world. Plenty of mocks drafts and analysts agreed with that pick. When there is a group of players with little separation, than you have to factor in the direction that your team is going and how players fit with your current roster.
