I'd rather have Afflalo as well, but Redick can be the Danny Green to Crawford's Manu Ginobili. Jared Dudley is also a very solid player so I understand why they took this deal.

Crawford is an instant offense, ball in his hands scorer that is only good off of the bench. JJ can start, play off of the ball, and has become a solid defender. Great move for the Clippers.

It's easier to develop consistent range then it is to teach the kind of defense they would play. Bledsoe and Oladipo have the percentages albeit on limited attempts and are 23/21 respectively. Harkless is only 20 and should fall somewhere between a Paul George and a Trevor Ariza.

There is a difference when you have a player like Duncan who is far and away better than everybody else. You don't pass on a Shaq or a LeBron or a soon-to-be Wiggins to reach for a position of need.
