ok suns are on the clock, finally things are rolling
-
if only there was a fast forward option ala youtube.
-
maybe he likes Lebron's style and wants to go Cleveland.
-
have the selections started? kinda confused. realgm says ayton picked #1 but espn says nothings
-
lol i called it in the other thread if it happens. #3 and Baze for #6 and EF
-
I saw the picture of the lady, looked pretty serious. The dog was wrapped in duct tape and hit her straight in the eye. That has to hurt if you're not paying attention at flying hotdogs.
-
Probably. The OKC pick i'm not going to cry over. Fournier for Schroder, Hawks probably get the better player (it also creates a logjam for them). That would leave the future first. I'd also consider Kent Bazemore. Hawks get the better player, also signed one extra year (assuming Fournier exercises his option). Realistically we can't open up cap space for at least two years so Baze doesn't hurt us in the short term. Also, I want Isaiah Taylor in any trade talks. I really like him as a backup point guard and I thought he played very well from late February till the end of the season.

I saw this about MPJ. Such an underrated aspect of draft evaluation: how athletes think about training and taking care of themselves. MPJ Vegan Diet

I hope we get it done. I didn't realize he's about 230lbs which is impressive with his skillset. I like the Hedo comp too, a better scoring version w/o gameday pizzas. Maybe a Ben Simmons lite, worse athletically, slightly smaller but more polished offensively.
-
maybe the 4th time is the charm? i've always liked Howard but the 4th team in 4 years thing is hard to ignore now. The luxury tax stuff, sure that's a concern but Hornets could've moved other guys and gotten more back. With this deal they will actually pay more in the end.
-
Sexton is very underwhelming at six. You're happy if you draft him like 11 or 12. DeAron Fox was #5 last season, which is more in line with my expectation at six. Carter Jr. i'm okay with.
-
I'll be surprised if the Kings pass him tbh. Lots of draft outlets had him as #1 or #2 all year so it's funny to me that he's dropping on mock drafts. miracles can happen though.
-
I hope we trade up for Doncic. 6-8, 228lbs, polished offensive game, gets his teammates involved, great power going to the hoop, versatile (can play up or down). I don't care if we take on Parsons it's not any worse than Biyombo. He'd be a nice complement to Isaac's defensive skills. Bonus that we can just add a defensive PG and make Doncic primary ballhandler.
-
lol no way they do that, that's not even a legal move because they are over the cap. They have to send out some salary. I'm OK with giving up Fournier but then Memphis needs to include future picks and/or young talent, and that's where it stops making sense.
-
I’d want more value coming back. I’d prefer Biyombo plus picks if I had to (they still save $15m); giving up Fournier for a player who played half a season is not equal to me.
-
I like that a lot too, but it only makes sense if Doncic is still there. I'd make a deal with #6 and Biyombo as centerpieces. Yes they get a bad contract back but they still save $15 mil over two seasons. And they have a chance to get their player. For us, Parsons would have absolutely no expectations of performing relative to his dollar. If he's healthy he's much more useful than Biyombo and if he's not, oh well, we give those minutes to #4, another prospect, etc.
-
I'd consider swapping picks with Grizzlies, something centered around Biyombo and Parsons, IF Doncic is there. Grizzlies would still save $15mil (technically more once you account for the #6 vs #4 salary).
-
Is there a list somewhere of what prospects have worked out/interviewed with us.
-
Tough loss for the Cavs. I thought they had at least one in them.
-
no that team was way worse. Kevin Love is way better than Big Z. And the rest of those guys like Daniel Gibson, Varejao, Damon Jones, and Drew Gooden? we rag on this 2018 cavs team but they aren't nearly as bad as that 2007 squad. If they played the warriors w/o KD they'd have a real chance to win.
-
KD made some really, really tough shots. The Cavs played well as a team but if KD is swishing deep threes like that there's not much you can do. That was an unreal performance by KD.
-
they will win, they have enough pride and self-respect to not lose at home.
-
Tough to say this but Javale McGee is making a huge impact this game lol
-
Love was very quiet first half. Hopefully he gets it going.
