Hey I want to make my unrealistic trade proposal too. It's a doozy.

Wow... This must be where ownership is saving some money. That lineup is just sad.

Magic going in for Chris Paul

432 pages and still no CP3? Come on guys another 400 and we might get it done. 200 and we might get Booze.

    Rumor: Bass for DJ Augustin

The thought of Jameer and Augustin on the same team is sickening. Why would they get a poor man's Jameer? He does everything Jameer does except worse. I'd rather him use the first round pick on a PG than have 2 vertically challenged PG's that play 0 defense.

Any point guard 20-26 that is about 6'3" with good handles and can play great D is welcome.

Why do you want Amare so bad?

I don't think anyone wouldn't want Amare on this team if he was able to be had. I just think there are other players people would rather have so they naturally make a case against the person they rather not. If any coach can make them play well together it would be Stan. I just think there are other players out there that would fit better. Gasol, Dirk and Murphy are great passers and even though they seem soft they are very scrappy guys. I have never seen Amare really fight for things like rebounds and loose balls. But yeah only a moron wouldn't want him on this team if we could have him.

Why do you want Amare so bad?

Nowitzki is the only big name PF I would want on this team and he is the least probable. I agree that Stat is a horrible fit. Troy Murphy would be a million times better for this team than Stat. Murphy is a 7 footer that shoots the 3, rebounds superbly, +80% ft shooter, good passer and has solid post D. His perimeter D is bad but how many PF's in the league are going to blow by anyone?

Those 2 guys are in the running for least athletic in the draft. Vazquez is not an NBA talent and Hobson is a career 3rd stringer.

    Draft Profile: Darington Hobson

This guy looks like a summer league drop out. Maybe i'm wrong but i'm not liking this guy's game at all. Crawford Brackens Terrico White Elliot Williams Ebanks Armon Johnson Bledsoe Seraphin Pondexter Damion James Dominique Jones Warren Stephenson Torrance These are all guys I would take before Hobson that should be available around that 29th pick.

    Logical Landing Spots For Gortat

The rookie contract for say a 5th pick is what? 3 million a year or so? Indeed. I wouldn't mind picking up one of OKC's young guys or getting Watson through the Gortat trade so we could use the MLE on Haslem or someone like that.

    Logical Landing Spots For Gortat

OKC - They need a young 5 that's athletic and plays D. Sefalosha, Harden and Green could be targets. I still wish we would have drafted Ibaka instead of Lee. Minnesota - Probably the best fit for Gortat. The Wolves have 0 defensive presence or a real C on their team. I know everyone likes Love but the Wolves will push Jefferson. Their lottery pick would be nice. Sacramento - Another team without any defensive presence up front. They also have a nice lottery pick. Golden State - sign and trade Watson and Morrow or their 6th pick for Gortat?

    A. Kennedy on possible Magic moves(link)

I also believe Jameer can be used in a trade if the value is right. He is a great player and I want him here but unless you have a defensive wing that is a great ball distributor like a Joe Johnson type player Jameer is not going to be very effective over the long haul. Let's not forget Jameer will be 30 very soon and if you think he is a horrible defender now with no court vision wait for another year or two.

Seems like he would be great on a team that loves to shoot 3s. He often could play point and drive and kick, etc. EDIT: Forgive me, Sinister, I just read your post. Agree. No prob. Iggy is definitely the perfect type of 2 to play with Jameer. The same reason why I would have liked Joe Johnson on the team. They both are great passers and great defenders. Joe is just a better outside shooter. I like Iggy's approach to the game a bit more though.

The Official "trade for ____ ? Thread"

When I think about it Iggy would be a good fit if we kept Jameer and a 3 that could also shoot it from 3. Jameer could play off the ball as he is a great shooter while Iggy, who has far better court vision, could run more of a point role. 1. Jameer 2. Iggy 3. Lewis??

The Official "trade for ____ ? Thread"

I like Iggy's youth and he is a great athlete but he is such a poor shooter. I wouldn't mind acquiring him but would he fit with this team's style? He is a poor 3pt shooter and for a guard his free throw % is not good either. He is a great defender, rebounder and distributor for his position so I guess it really depends on what type of 1 you have.

    Pacers Dealing Their #10 Pick

Indiana receiving 3 white players for Danny Granger and the 10th pick? No way the Pacers pass up on that.

If you could send one guy packing...

I want Vince to be gone because that means we get something very good in return. 17 million is going to get you more than a high draft pick.

I love how they call Cook a sharpshooter when his FG% has never even gotten above 38%. That is atrocious. The guy shot 32% from the field and 31% from 3 this year. Why Haslem now? Yeah 2 or 3 years ago no doubt but he is in his 30's and has knee problems. Thornton is ok but you are giving up a first rounder, Ryno and Gortat for that? No way Otis makes this ridiculous trade.

Not feelin' Aminu either. The guy looks like a bum's Luol Deng. Overrated.
