I've just been reading about David West and the reaction from Hornets fans... Many of them believe that with David West likely to sign elsewhere that it is a foregone conclusion that Chris Paul will leave too. One of the more senior members over at HornetsReport.com has been saying for a while that Chris still wants out and that has not changed since this time last year. Could Otis make a final play for CP3? Strap in guys! :P

With the Hawks looking like they are going to get new ownership soon, I don't see a Josh Smith deal getting done. I'm starting to believe that there will be no deals done before the lockout. I think the owner's meeting tomorrow will decide how the next couple of days play out and if any moves are made.

This is about all I am hoping for right now. Not only is he available, he is the most attainable of all the names being thrown out there. He's an upgrade on what we have, fills a need and we seem to have what they're after. Make a deal Otis!

It will be interesting to see if Magical knows anything about this and if we get an update any time soon. Typical that we just start to move on from the talk last week and then Ping reels us back in. Now I'll be checking the forum non-stop waiting for something to be announced!

Looks like the Grizz are resisting offers for OJ at the moment. This article says they had at least three serious conversations about OJ but decided against it. Link

Just watched the Otis video, judging by his comments on DeAndre, it seems he has a real shot to make the team. I remember last year with Stanley, he said he would be fighting for a spot from day one but with DeAndre there was none of that and he seemed quite high on him.

They're not even watching anymore... Interesting. Can something be announced already!!!

I think it means you've had 610 posts in the Orlando Magic Forum and the extra 174 posts have come in the other Forums within TrueBlueNation.

The guy plays hard but he is yet another 30-something wing that is likely to bottom out when he gets to Orlando (see Carter, Vince and Richardson, Jason). We would be in this situation again in a year or two. Time to go younger and get someone who can grow with Dwight.

That was me that suggested it on Twitter :-) Portland could add in one of their first round picks, giving the Hawks the option of drafting a 3 to replace Smoove or a young big.

Suns would be stupid not to accept that. I don't see how Golden State could offer two lottery picks for Lopez though. If they're looking to unload Udoh then Otis should call them up. He would fit nicely next to Dwight.
