    An analogy, since you're seemingly pretty dense:

     

    I have 1 million dollars worth of stock in a company, lets say Microsoft.

     

    I trade it to you for $100k worth of gasoline.

     

     

    A month later, the entirety of society collapses, Mad Max style, and gasoline is now the most valuable resource on Earth.

     

    In that scenario, was my original trade a good one? The answer is of course not. I gave you 10x the value I received in return. THAT is what the trade was. Any changes in values to the traded items that occurs after the trade is completely irrelevant to the judgment of the trade itself.

     

     

    The trade was better than letting howard walk for nothing in return.

    Dwight's heart, Dwight's character, Dwight's commitment to the team, Dwight's professionalism were all massively overrated. His talent, however, is not.

     

    Disagree. Heart, character and commitment were all there expect his last year. He's not better than Shaq, but Howard was and still is a beast even though I don't like him anymore.

     

    Howard may seem overrated now because the Lakers are playing horrible and have a losing record. I've seen some games and looked up the stats just about every time and Howard is doing the usual. There is simply no chemistry and Kobe is taking 100+ shots a game

    Kris Humphries didn't deserve that ejection but he did deserve a technical. Garnett Should have been ejected from his forearm that he threw at GW's head. Rondo, definite ejection and Wallace, inevitable ejection.

     

    That was a cat fight. Did you see Humphries' arm?

     

    Glad Boston lost and glad Rondo didn't get to break the record due to his stupidity!
