Why would you want to start Harrington? If our plans are to ship him to another team within the next...18 months, we should be developing Nicholson and giving him good minutes. IMO, our lineup should look like this Jameer Afflaro Harkless Nicholson Davis

Woke up a little more optimistic today. After the 2013-2014 season, we would have about 22 mil in contracts and that includes Harrington who we presume may be traded. By then we would have sucked for 2 years = 2 high draft picks and plenty of cash to sign 2 maybe 3 great players. By then we would know if Harkless and Nicholson are worth anything. Time will tell. We have way too many players on our current roster, so Rob isn't done dealing.

How are we getting these high picks? We won't get them through this trade and we possibly won't get them through the draft. You can't build an OKC type of team by picking 8 through 14. THe magic aren't good enough to make the playoffs and aren't bad enough to get the #1 pick

This trade is garbage for the magic. We're not good enough to make the playoffs and we're not bad enough to have a better chance at the #1 pick. Afflalo has 4 years left at 7.5 mil (last year player option) Good scorer and horrible defender. He'll make Hedo look good playing defense. Harrington has 3 years left 21mil. 3 protected draft picks??? How are we getting cap space? This team will suck for the next 4-5 years! Please help me see the positive about this besides getting rid of Howard's drama and Duhon/J-Rich's contract who by the way are being replaced by Al and Afflalo

Put your hate aside for a moment and thank the man for some wonderful years. He took us to the playoffs when he had a good team and made a run at a ring. The man was a beast and brought a lot of smiles and hapiness. While I don't wish him the best and I hope they lose to the Thunder in the WCF next year, I do want to thank him for his career here

Weird how I would never watch gymnastics, Volleyball, swimming, synchronized diving, cycling etc, but when the Olympics begin, I really look forward to all of those.

NBC, MSNBC, Bravo and Telemundo were showing Olympics games today. When I left this morning NBC was showing cycling. I haven't seen the recording yet.

I doubt it. NBC wont show a game twice when they have so many games to show
