The link below will show you Chris Paul going for 37 points and 11 assists againts Alston. We will see bad games from Alston and we will see PG's go nuts against us, but who doesn't have a bad game? http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/...ore?gameId=280308010

What Otis is going to do w/ Alston next year?

Do we need to open up a thread for the Nelson Bandwagon?

I just glad Arroyo didn't come back - not a fan. Bored here need to stir a little up. Hating on Lue does nothing because no one likes him. Before Lue cut his hair he looked like a Puerto Rican.

Chad Ford's Opinion On Alston Deal!

Neither of which I believe at all. Can't agree with you there! 1st round picks no matter how late they are could be very valuable. That the Orlando Magic can't scout it's very different, but you have seen numerous good players go all the way to late 1st rounds and early 2nd rounds.

Hedo does not defend the opponent's best scorer and that is the reason why the people he guards don't score 50+ every game. Hedo is a SF and so is LBJ. You would rarely see Hedo trying to keep up with LBJ. WOW...I used Hedo trying to keep up with LBJ in the same sentence. so if he really sucks, other teams SFs still can score a lot on him because he is bad.. what u said doesnt make sense at all. pierce is SF and great scorer i haver seen he score over 30 on us either. and yes hedo defend him most part.. mostly gurds score big on us if you notice. hedo is NOT DEFENSIVE player and you know that long time. only think i dont like is when he drives he doesnt finish strong, waiting for foul. but he is the only one at least drive to line unless someone who does 200 pump fakes before decide what to do... he is great versatile player and can take over a game by himself. thats because he had bad season that makes you guys talk and i dont blame you.. actually last month his shooting and 3s were better untill jameer got injured.. bottom line he is an offensive player and not much to say about his defense.. he can shoot, drive, pass,go to line... watch him after alston arrive... Dude take Boston aside and tell me if he has to guard LBJ, Vince, T-Mac, C. Butler, Granger, J Rich, Melo, Durant etc. He has no choice with Pierce because he can't guard Ray Ray or KG. Also Boston's players don't usually score 30+ games b/c of their style it's kinda like the Pistons a few years ago. You said I don't make sense and I apologize I can't make a come back, but I couldn't understand what you tried to say. I'm not expecting Hedo to be a good defender, but that does not mean I can't talk about it!

Injury prone??? check this http://www.nba.com/playerfile/...on/career_stats.html This is his first big injury. You don't normally see superstars play all 82 games. We are just used to Howard play all games except this year.

There are bad defenders that use their 6 fouls to prevent some shots, but Hedo??? He sometimes tries to use them and ends up giving them an "and 1"

What Otis is going to do w/ Alston next year?

2.5 mil isn't a really attractive salary to trade before the trade line. We may just pull kinda the same deal if there is a team in need of a PG that is the playoff race out West. For example let say that Brooks from the Rockets go down and the Rockets need a PG...well who better than Alston to replace him? We could probably ask for L. Head and a 1st round pick!

    Pietrus...

I know he isn't always the hottest shooter, but he is going hurt our chances of winning a championship if he keeps throwing his body at the rim with no disgregard I got so mad when I saw him drive to the basket the way he did yesterday, but 2 things here... 1. He had time to not jump when he saw Wallace stand there. 2. What was Wallace trying to do? That's the type of dunk when you have to move the f*** away! I love the fact that he's aggresive, but he does have to know when to control it!

Did you see what Rafer Alston did for this team?

He controled the game really good and he finished the game not AJ. 8 dishes on his 1st game is pretty good! There was a Rocket fan yesterday on the forum and (funny) he stated that they were tired of seeing him go 1 for 8 or 1 for 9 in games and Alston went 1 from 9 from the field last night. I thought about that fan right away! I love the 8 assists.
  16. I think he should do surgery ASAP and have a lot of time to rehab. We need him as healthy as possible for next year. What do you all think? I like our chances again!

Driver, move, cut, rotate QUICK and GET HIM THE MOTHER ****ING BALL Do not agree! Howard needs to Man Up too! He needs to speak up and demand the **** ball. Chris Paul is a leader and he demands stuff from his players. He screams at them all the time when they mess up, Howard on the other hand looks down and walks to the paint. No! This has got to stop. Lewis and Howard need to speak up and hold their peers accountable for their miskate. They need to get on their faces and let them know they f*** up! Hedo often fu*** up and no one says anything besides SVG. Man Up Howard!

Trades galore, but none for magic... wow

quote: Originally posted by CoachTsurfing:Wow, wilcox and smith get traded for chandler, cassel gets moved from the celts, and one more minor one. What do the magic do. Nothing. Great just great. I know it takes two to trade, but come on Otis, do something to make this team better. Please tell me a good trade we could do at this point? And keep in mind Otis wants to resign Hedo next year....I'll be waiting for your trade!

Something tells me Jameer's not doing surgery

Book it I hope he does cause this team ain't going anywhere w/o him.

I would hate to see ankle Hill playing for the magic again. I'm happy he's in a difficult situation over there. He thought the Suns would have a chance at winning it all, but Kerr destroyed the team!
  23. quote: Originally posted by J-Pat Attack!:D12 did a phone interview on first take with Jay Crawford, it replays at noon so check in at about 12:40. Dwight was hilarious as always, they never mentioned the Magic just all-star weekend and being featured on the cover of espn the magazine. The only clue he gave about the dunk contest that he will be dressing up at some point, i think he will put on a afro and wig with short shorts and dunk from the free-throw line like Dr.J. That's a pretty good idea. I don't think he'll dress like Superman again and he will not do any other superheroe. Maybe using a phone booth to change into Dr. J could do it.

    OT: O'Neal traded to Miami

Chalmers, Wade, Beasley, Haslem and O'neal look pretty good on paper. I won't even talk about the Raptors cause they won't make the playoffs. The Heat were winning w/o Marion and the addition of JO gives them a good center if he can stay healthy. Did you all see that game winning shot by Marion last night??? That was a heck of a play!

    Trade for Amare? True?

quote: Originally posted by rtillaree: quote: Originally posted by richnba:If we could get Amare fro turk we would be idiots to not do it. Amare would give is a legit 4 Lewis moves back up to 3, and well we did just trade our only other sg though. and of course we lose about 80% of our current ball movement, but who needs that...I'm sure AJ and Lue will luck into a few assists here and there with Amare on the team... Come one man...let's be realistic! If we bring Amare we also need a PG, so why not bring Nash too? We send Hedo, JJ, Cook, Battie and Nelson to be able to make the trade. I don't see why they would say no to that! Yeah we won't have our best ball handler, our back up PF/C and one back up SG, but do we really need them? Don't even mention Nelson....we have to think about this year not the next one.
