This has got to be the best tread ever.Just cant stop laughing.Nice job you all.

Is there anybody else in this board, other than me, that think that a front line of Howard and Okafur would be unstopable. I think he can be had for a little over the MLE.Hedo at the point why not?
-
What the hek, why not. JJ does look kind of lonely at the end of the bench, some company would be nice.

Rashard is a class act, there wasnt a better match for this team. VC= old,Gwallace= can not get out of injured list,Lewis = unselfish natural scorer-perfect fit.

WE'RE THE 3RD BEST TEAM IN THE CONFERENCE! Jesus Christ on a stick; you guys act like our season is over because we didn't make a trade!
Look at our roster, we have 3 PF/C's... Auggie has proven that he deserves some playing time if only for the fact that he hustles his *** off. And when Gortat has been sharpened, he will be a valuable assest. And Garrity, well, he's just meat.
You guys need to, for real, get over yourselves with this self-serving diatribe crap. The only thing I saw written down there, in that 1500 word essay, was "I like the way I write, I think I'm the bee's knees, me, me, MEEEEEEEEE".
I said it once, and I'll say it again: GET OVER IT!

quote:The other point regarding Jameers' contract many fail to grasp is that we could have actually been players again in FA if Otis was going to allow these contracts to expire. What?
quote:The funning thing about Darko is that he's been up and down this year and many are labeling him a bust again.Face it, Darko never has and never will live up to his potiential. He's a slug. He can't even average a double/double on a team that misses a billion shots and has no other low-post prescense. And I was a big Darko fan.
quote:Otis gets some credit for pushing Hill out.He gets more than just some credit. He led the charge to can a coach that was killing this team against the wishes of some factions in ownership. That alone gives him leverage for the future to me.
quote:How much does Otis pay you?Just my opinion. Try refuting it at anytime.

Lets just keep this same team and open the new building with what we have, what the heck this is so much fun.I guess you haven't been a Magic fan very long. It's been well over a decade since we've been the 3rd best team in the East, I'm very happy with it.
quote:No sir. Two more years after this year at around 15 mil per.Ouch.

quote:Originally posted by Tough Break There:Drew Gooden is always very good against us as well. They actually just gave away the only two role players that kill us on that team.
I get the feeling we won't be seeing the Cavs in anything other than the Conference Finals. And if we make it that far....I'd be pretty happy no matter what happens.

quote:Originally posted by The Truth:The Truth knows Hedo has been our most consistent player but why oh why is the Magic management no packaging him and some contracts for Artest or Kiralenko???
Again, Hedo has been the most consistent but I don't see Orlando shipping Lewis off this soon...although if they could get rid of that contract The Truth would be all for it...but picking up Artest or AK47 gives them a defensive monster.
DO IT
The Truth is tired of this team getting The Truth's hopes up only to brain fart itself into being happy with winning the worst division in the league and being knocked out in the 1st round. Let Darko and Diener walk for NOTHING...overpay the 3...Do nothing at this deadline with all the expiring contracts...at the end of his deal watch JJ walk cause he wants to play more. The management here needs to grow some balls and make a move.

Garrity = $3.9 mil

Thomas = $8 mil
Where the heck is Dooling in there????????
@%^* I swear, you guys must be Otis' children or something. GDI.
So if Meer or Dooling go down who plays PG for us in the playoffs?
-
missed it anything important?
-
isnt arroyo your third string PG.

Deal.
Of course, now your team is in the luxury tax next year with just 11 people on roster, and still over the CAP the following year with just 5 people under contract, so you're going to be hard pressed to add quality, outside the draft.
Oh well, have fun with Wilcox! We'll have fun signing Elton Brand!
I was pretending to be Seattle. That trade, along with the Wally trade, would put Seattle $Texas under the Cap, along with a bunch of draft picks. So, if Seattle had made that trade, they'd then be able to make several first round picks, and sign Elton Brand or a like talented FA.

I have seen and heard a lot already, no more excuses Otis needs to go.

Ok time to start the official fire otis smith tread.

Exellent read, welcome back MC

I am sorry but Thomas doesnt make any sense, first he would be a quik fix wich Otis said he doesnt want, second why trade expirings for expirings makes no sense for either team, third the guy is 100 years old how much gas is left in the tank.WILCOX or bust.

quote:Originally posted by Soul Bro:The Lakers are said to want a true SF (http://www.hoopsworld.com/HeadlineStories.asp?hd=20080218&lc=NBA#STORY_5796). The perfect trade for both teams would be Rashard for Odom. They get a true SF, while we get a nice PF and shed Shard's big contract.
Starters:
Nelson
Evans
Turk
Odom
Howard
Moreover, we could still use our expirings, JJ, and maybe a pick to secure either Miller or Maggette. Will it happen? No. Still a man can dream.

unfreaking real, it was over from the first dunk Dwight made.
-
Yea I just saw that, If only Redick would get a chance.
