the sign you saw was probably for free shuttle not free parking. there is no free parking lot downtown. everyone either charges or you get towed.

you say to only judge by what he did here but then take off .5 for him leaving..i dont think shaq leaving takes away from what he did when he was here at all. 10/10 from me. he was young so i dont expect him to be as good as a little later in his career. he got us to the finals..we had other good players but would be no where w/o him. he put our franchise on the map and helped attract new fans.

I don't think people need reminders unless they can't read what the schedule says. and yes, I check the schedule every other day. games are on different days/times and I have a magnet as well as pocket schedule. So your assumption no one checks the schedule daily or weekly is wrong.

I like the article. I always liked to read his articles or inside info. I find it interesting that Otis says we didn't accomplish anything last year. I think it's wrong to have just one ultimate goal. Even as small a goal as - our goal is to win this one game. Or a goal to be undefeated with Rashard out.

are we raising 2 banners for division and conference titles? it shows an accomplishment for the regular season as well as playoffs.

i was at the game, and he looked ok but not great. i dont get why the article in the paper was written about him, it should have been about ryan anderson. i would still rather have someone else playing over jj.

i was at the game and the refs were about as bad as i thought they would be. at one point carter gets elbowed in the head/neck area and jameer gets called for a foul when he isn't even in the play..if the refs had their way, the game would have gone on another 10 min. i can easily see games lasting a lot longer if the reffing continues the way it is and w/ the national tv time outs.

also i was at the game and thought most of those offensive fouls were bogus. drives in, stops, and is shooting a short jumper and gets called for a foul? if anything wade is charging more than him.

i dont know why dwight or others would compare him to garrity. he looked a lot better than him to me. garrity looked so stiff moving around and couldn't shoot.

this is a non issue. the cavs fans haven't bought playoff tickets yet and the tickets arent activated. when a magic season ticket buys playoff seats, the comes with finals as well. its not saying we will make it there.. they just give you a ticket for every possible game. basically mailing out tickets now is just saying they want you to buy playoff tickets when the time comes and their belief they will at least make the 8th seed to make it to the playoffs.

I was looking at other teams schedules that we play and it looks like the chicago game is televised. so we might be able to get a link somehow for that and watch it online.

Ticket listings went up for all games on ticketmaster. The heat game I was talking about in thanksgiving is $20 for the cheap seat. I can't believe how much tickets are going up IMO I don't think it's worth paying that much unless it's a playoff game. For years of no increase in price to doubling in price or more for some games is crazy. Probably not all seat levels are going up that much but for the cheap seats is going up 100% to 150% for some games. To me, thats scalping. I can see maybe a 25%-50% increase which would be $12.50-$15.00 a game. Also, I was promised a 10% discount on face value price for my ticket plan and I just figured out that they didn't give this to me. They were $1 off and then had to add in processing fees. Can't even get away from those fees buying directly from the magic box office reps. On a side note, I'm glad I have tickets to the 2nd cavs game rather than the 1st since we won't have our complete team playing (w/o lewis).

yes, for example..even though this game will be sold out before public onsale (b/c of the insane amount of scalpers buying season tix this year) the cheap seats for the cavs games would be $25! the heat games during thanksgiving would be the 2nd tier I think. I can't even begin to imagine what playoff tickets will cost next year.

just heard there is going to be a 3 tier pricing system for games. my thinking - just a way for the magic to participate in scalping..all games won't be the same price.

I will def look elsewhere to find a good deal as scalpers will be wanting to get rid of tickets. The reason they want to cap it - a lot of season tickets they are selling are 50% off and my ticket rep said they are raising the ticket prices on individual tickets. So really they are selling season tickets at over 50% off when you factor in the price increase. I was also informed there are no more $10 seats, you would have to buy full season tickets to get $10/game.

stub hub can be overpriced but you can find deals on it also. just sucks you have to pay service fees + shipping. i usually buy ebay and never had any problems on there. it works out to be cheaper most of the time w/ no service fees and free shipping. i recently bought tix on ebay for opening game and hedo's first game back. i haven't received mine yet either but not worried.

2) I can log into my magic account and purchase season or half season tickets if I wanted so I don't see how you are selecting before others. Maybe I'm wrong on this but I know they were pushing season ticket sales for playoff tickets so pretty sure this isn't the first time you can buy them. I think the only thing that you would have an advantage for is the 11 game plans. I would like to to buy this but wasn't able to go today and I think its ridiculous the magic are making you drive over to the arena to have first dibs on certain seats. You are already spending over $100 or hundreds on seats and on top of that, you have take time out of your weekend to make a purchase that could have been done over the phone or online.

no players. only nick anderson will be there. personally, I dont see the point in going. If you want to buy season tickets, half season, or other plans, you can just buy over the phone or online even. Save your gas & time of driving over there. If you have been to a few games in different sections of the arena, you pretty much know what your view will be like. There is also a good 3-D seating tool on this site. I think in years past, if you bought a package there then you could get to the front of the line of a player meet and greet.

whats the pace car? I dont know anything about nascar.

i didnt think the magic would lose out on a free agent going to toronto ever..especially when they have no chance of winning and magic just went to the finals but still..depending on the numbers of what he signed for, he could not even be making that much more considering higher taxes/living expenses, etc...even if the weather is really hot here, hedo will have to deal with -20 temps in the winter. have fun.

as much as i would want hedo to return, i dont think it will happen. jameer, dwight, and vince all need the ball a lot on offense. rashard just stands around and shoots or the occasional post up. Hedo can't be running the offense for us as much as he did in the playoffs.
