What is the difference between him and Hedo though? Better D, worse passing, same chucking. In terms of overall value, you don't lose on that trade.

i didn't say that was my opinion, but that's why sjax is being discussed so much right now is he's on the block trying to be dumped. we have no real assets to get any real players to help. sjax is on dwights "list". that is why people here are making posts saying we should trade for him.
i'm pretty sure the level of suck between sjax and hedo is comparable though.
Big Baby was on Dwight's list and even after getting him, Dwight is still on the fence about leaving. SJax is probably not going to help Dwight stay. All it does is give this team another over the hill player on the wrong side of 30.

Now back to sad Dwight. Dude just doesn't want to be here. We're going to either lose him for nothing or wait too long to trade him and receive less. Which given how terrible these trade scenarios are, I can't wait to see what they are like before the deadline.

Then people would complain that he's not a go to scorer. Iggy doesn't put us over the top. He definitely helps, but I don't look at him and think "Now there's the final piece to this puzzle."

Just look at what the Nets gave up for DWill. Look at what the Clippers are rumored to give up for CP3. Now look at the garbage we'd get for Dwight. Why does it always seem like we're on the **** end of every stick? The Jazz get a solid PG entering the prime of his career. A big man taken with the 3rd overall pick that has huge upside and 2 first round picks. The Hornets could get a top lottery selection, expiring contract, and young talent. We get Brook *****ing Lopez.

What you are referring to as trash, championship teams refer to as role players. Jameer is definitely a starting caliber point guard (he is not a superstar but can be an allstar). The other guys are great shooters that Championship teams need. Like Boston needed Eddie House. Like Dallas needed DeShawn Stevenson. Don't get me wrong as New Orleans are far from a Chip, but they could do worse, and they could lose him for nothing, as we could also with Dwight.
Except NOH is not a championship team. They are about to be a rebuilding team. Therefore, our offer is trash.

The difference between the Nets offer and our offer is extremely staggering, don't even compare the two.
Our package for CP3 is garbage. The Nets offer for Dwight is garbage. That's what it really comes down to. The league turned down the Hornets getting KMart, Scola, & Odom. They're not going to accept a package centered around Jameer *****ing Nelson. So just stop.

Why do we as Magic fans always do this, Jameer Nelson was an allstar a few years back, Rhyno is a very good young lights out shooter strech four, JJ is avery good shooter/6th man role player, J Rich is a good veteran shooter/slasher, and we have Harper and all his potential, picks and so forth. I know Otis made bone headed moves and we would have better assets without those trades last year, but don't act like they couldn't possibly do worse, especially for a player who will not even committ to signing an extension; giving those players up for an unsure commitment would be a gamble on our part, but a gamble we have to take because of Otis. Lets have some confidence and act like we know our sh_t doesn't stink around here. LOL
I'm sure Nets fans think their package is good enough to get Dwight, but we all know it's trash. The Hornets know what we have to offer is trash. Stop living in denial.

No more short friggin point guards. People bag on Jameer, who is an All-Star caliber player, for being too short. If we're getting any more PGs, I want a skilled, legit 6'2" minimum.
Because there's so many of those to be had..

I'm behind around here. So I'm still trying to find out why 2 people are making others PM them for information regarding the Dwight saga (that's what I'm assuming this is about).
Is this Junior High now?
