Not really. LeBron is more of a Pg than Wade was. It’s more like Westbrook and LeBron. That didn’t work because both absolutely need the ball more times than not.
-
Yeah but Lamelo thrives as a ball dominate playmaker. So does Scoot. You’d be stiffening ones talent doing this.
-
Yeah it’s not a good fit. Both are floor generals. You have to move one.
-
See what you did there
-
Hope to trade up for Scoot but if we stay at 6 I’m leaning towards Cam or Ausar. I can see Coulibaly as a dark horse. If he grows another inch or two he could be a monster. I just don’t know much about that French league.
-
One can make an argument that he would be our best lead guard since Penny. Why would that be a bad fit?
-
I like Vassell. Just not trading the 6th pick for him.
-
Go get Scoot Weham!
-
There’s a possibly this will be the last time we’ll be picking this high in the foreseeable future. Hopefully at least. I want an high upside guy coming out of this draft.
-
I’m not a big fan of that scenario. Vassell is solid but not a guy I’m focused on.
-
Seems like we’ve developed await and see culture in the media which I’m good with.
-
With so many mocks going in so many different directions tells me they have absolutely no clue on what we’ll do. Love it.
-
Yeah I mean you want guys who can shoot but you don’t want black holes. Not in today’s offense. Edit: I rather have Hendricks over Whitmore though. I’m still on the Scoot train
-
I’ve cooled a lot on Hendricks and Whitmore.
-
Prepared for Bilal Coulibaly at 6.
-
Same here. Only one I’m locked on is Scoot. I’ve become a bit skeptical about Whitmore and not a fan of Walker for us. The twins are something I have become more open to. I get the competition issue. The athletic ability though and it’s not like they don’t have skills. I watched a little more of Black and I could get behind it I guess. I also would understand if we drafted George. Craziest draft I can remember.
-
We were but there are stats showing Fultz isn’t the best PG for Paolo. You also have to consider his history of health.
-
I don’t think Coulibaly has the playmaking ability like Ausar “seems” to have.
-
Well I think we need a ball dominate guard because I don’t see Paolo or Franz as guys you want to run an offense as a lead guard. They are high iq players who can make plays but not floor generals you want to rely on as setting up the offense every possession. I really want to root for Black because of that but I don’t know if he’s a lead guard or more of a 6’7 combo guard.
-
Maybe but that’s a big if. There’s also numbers showing that he’s not good with Paolo.
-
Just because he was better than what we had doesn’t mean he’s the best going forward.
-
I love Scoot for us. I don’t see anyone who’s a true lead guard PG and Fultz isn’t a guy I’d say he makes us so much better.
-
There’s an argument that he’s not ideal next to Paolo and Franz in more ways than one.
-
I just don’t think that gets us where we need to be. I like Ausar a little more because of his ability to defend and make plays with the ball.
-
Can on paper seems like a good fit but his weaknesses are concerning for me as for what we need and to select him at 6. He’s a 3 and d guy who’s not exceptional at either. He also defended SF’s and PF’s mostly. He also isn’t a good playmaker and not really good with the ball in his hands to make good decisions. The others, yeah good bench guys but I’m taking a swing with this draft/off season. You can sign good bench players. This draft, you need to get one more guy. Don’t see that with those guys.
