I don’t think ownership is the problem. I think Martins’ biggest thing was rushing Hennigan and refusing to trade EP. Thwy try to stay out of it. It was the case where it was HEnnigan or Skiles. Obviously Skiles was right, but they had to back the front office. -
Define splash? Lol if it’s for Ball/Fultz and requires anything other than Simmons/Grant/Fournier and 2nd round picks, I’ll pass. But Im with you on an established guard.

A small market team can’t get any stars in the NBA right now and MLB large markets don’t want any. The latter is weird. As a Yankees fan I can say we need pitching not hitting. -

I really don’t want to trade for prospects unless we aren’t giving away anything. You draft prospects, you don’t trade for them unless you are getting rid of expiring baggage. Prospect for prospect swap is a lateral move unless you know something about your’ guy the other team doesn’t.
