It’s year 6 sure, but he’s still 24, has had 4 coaches in 5 and a half years and has never been utilized correctly by the team.

True.  And I will say this, I don't think this organization has used him properly throughout his career.  I am a big fan of giving him more post up opportunities, he can score and pass effectively.

Yeah, I think I agree here. Salary dumps and future assets for Vooch and/or Evan. Disagree if it involves moving Gordon though, in my opinion Aaron only goes if we’re getting an all star back

I am not as high on Gordon as others.  This is season 6 for him, usually at this point you know who the player is and his upside.  We screwed up with Oladipo because we became impatient and only gave him 3 seasons to develop.

  3. Was just talking to my Brother who now lives and Kansas City and is trying but failing to get a super bowl ticket.  We started to reminisce about going to game 4 of the 2009 ECF against Cleveland and how incredible it was.  We both agree it was near the top of sporting events we have ever been to.  Those memories with my Brother will last forever.  It also reminded me of how electric this town was rooting for our only pro franchise.  I remember meeting people I would never meet in normal life and hugging them just because we both loved the Magic.  Damn I really want those days again:)

  4. I know I hate on Fournier and Vooch a lot.  It is well deserved sometimes because they represent the ineptitude of this franchise.  But honestly it is not all their fault, the franchise deserves blame for constantly putting them in positions they are not equipped to handle.  On a championship team with two amazing superstars Vooch might be the fourth best player and Fournier should be coming off the bench as a person who can get some buckets if he is on.  But we are 8 years in on Vooch and 6 on Fournier,  we have been through multiple coaches and two front offices but nothing ever changes except for one thing.   ALEX MARTINS IS STILL IN CONTROL!  You never want a marketing and sales guy to run your entire organization.  I mean hell is the hockey guy we had available?  And yes I know he was very instrumental in getting the new arena I know a lawyer who was in on those talks.  But he should stay on the business side and never be on the basketball side.  Basketball should have the final say over business and marketing.

I'm expecting LeBron to take this season personal more than ever now. So I'd not bet against something beyond comprehension to happen this season.

Think maybe the Lakers are about to go up a level.

But the Bucks are my faves.

Clippers though will be no easy task.

    Kahwi is Kahwi...

You may be right.  I would expect Lebron to want to win one for Kobe.  If it were a 28 year old Lebron I would not bet against him but I am not sure 35 year old Lebron who is about to move into the top 10 in career minutes played has that extra gear anymore.  But hey would not be the first or last time I am completely wrong:)

So the Bucks just put down 88 points at the half WITHOUT Giannis!!!

They are the championship favourites for me personally...

LeBron after all this with Kobe could maybe hit new heights...

Lakers Vs Bucks 7 game series...

    Who knows..

You think the Lakers are a given?  I honestly think the Clippers are better,  their physical style is perfect for the playoffs.  And they have 3 guys who can create their own shot in crunch time.

The Weham era wasn’t really a rebuild. It was more of an attempt to right the ship. And it is right now is just piggybacking. I swear if we resign Fournier.....

I would say the Oladipo trade was a reset of the first rebuild.  Weham had to come in and pick up the pieces and what did they do double down on the the so called talent (Vooch, Ross, Fournier, Augustin)  Of the first rebuild.  I don't know either way it freaking stinks!  I love my Dolphins and FSU Noles but there is nothing like the Magic and what it would mean for this team and this city to win a title!

I agree with you TPB that Evan played well this year. But if you recall, he got off to a rocky start at the beginning of the season. Some posters were asking what happened to the Evan who played very well during the summer International games (I don't remember what it was called).

But then he came out of his slump and played up to expectation. Now, after returning from sitting out a couple of games due to injury, he has regressed. He has gone back to last year's Evan.

Exacty.  But he can opt out of his contract this summer.  So we need to sell high if we can.  I would lose all faith in this franchise if we resigned him for big money.  Especially since we are going to have to pay Markelle and Isaac soon.

To be honest, I had a bad feeling about this game when it was announced during pregame that Fournier would be playing. That feeling that a kid gets when a parent tells them that their *evil* aunt agnes was coming for dinner.

Or your weird inappropriate drunk uncle is coming to Thanksgiving!  Lol:)  Fournier has played pretty well this year but we continue to have him and Vooch as our "best" players which is never ever going to work!  What is the definition of insanity?

How about benching guys who give zero effort for a change. Vooch was a f ing joke in this game. And what play does Clifford call on that timeout when we were down by 2. He calls the play for vooch. Unf ingbelievable. Kelle has got to questioning Clifford at this point.

Kelle should!  He was the only player that had it rolling and when we went away from him is when GS took over.  There is not star on this team yet so Cliff should not feel like he should have to appease the likes of busta a** Vooch or Fournier!

Held on to the same players for too long

Exactly.  We were desperate to say made the playoffs one year.  Okay great!  My analogy would be if your NFL team won your horrible division with an 8-8 record with no star quarterback.  Sure you played good defense and beat up on your weak division.  But you are not making a significant run and will have a hard time upgrading your quarterback position.  Maybe not best analogy but that is what came to mind.

  12. So 43 games in we have 4 wins vs. teams with winning records (Philly twice, Lakers, and Heat)  Our other 16 wins came against teams (We played Wash 4 times and Cleveland 3 so I added there record for each game we have played them)  So our opponents in those 16 wins have a combined record of 229 and 444.  We are basically better then the bottom feeders in the league and definitely better coached but we are no closer than still just being an afterthought in the weak east.  This whole rebuilding on the fly is great if you have a star in place but we don't.  So what the hell are we doing?
