I tried so hard to be really excited about this year even I Mr. logical let my fandom get in the way of common sense. It has been the same sense Dwight left if we don't have a star to build around everything else is pointless!! It is so tiresome to hear people on here complain about the officiating all the freaking time. If you have watched the NBA long enough you can expect things to not always go your way when it comes to the officiating. And yes there will be egregious calls that go for you or against you. Plus this team has no star and no high volume FT shooters and more importantly no reputation for taking it hard to the hoop so what do you expect? Sound like a lot of people had high expectations for this team this year and we kinda suck right now. So the easy scapegoat right now is officiating.

I usually have a decent idea of the win total of this team the last few years. But this year the variance between the ceiling and the floor is so huge because of so many variables I have no idea. I know one thing this season is going to be exciting as hell and tell us a lot. Isaac, Fultz, and to a lesser degree Bamba are the keys.

I do care about the money. But more then that I care about the type of player Vooch is. You cannot have your so called best player be an inefficient center who ranked 133rd in points per shot which he was one of the worst centers in the league because he doesn't go to the line and hit that many 3's . You have to play at a slow pace to maximize his game which hinders our young athletes who would be better playing up tempo. One of the main reasons we were towards the bottom in the league in offense. We would have been better off signing a short term cheaper option until Bamba was ready. That was the opinion of many on this board.

How depressing is it as a Magic fan we had Shaq and T-Mac for a combined 8 years but we are looking at the possibility of 11 years of Vooch! Let that sink in!!!!

I hate everything that happened today except for the Ross signing. They have to know something about Fultz or the offseason is not over. Something is just missing that brings it all together hopefully.

I don't exactly know what Isaac's offensive potential is. What I do know is if he ever develops a consistent jump shot the man is close if not 7 ft (taller then Vuc) and should be able to shoot over almost everyone. As far as Gordon goes how many players in NBA history have made a somewhat significant leap in their 6th season? Honest question I really don't know. If Fultz is not huge moving forward I see a treadmill team with a bad cap situation. As a Magic fan for 30 years who watches every game I can it was a really depressing day outside of the Ross signing.
