Oh. BTW I spent a ton of time trying to figure out why we were so bad between December and February but amazing since February.

There isn't some statistical aberration. There's not simultaneous slumps that were hidden by good early season production.

All the data just matches the eye test. Grant was really bad and Isaac got a lot better so now our offense doesn't suck when Isaac plays with iwundu and the effect of that is we can play Fournier with the bench more so now we have more success across the board.

We'll probably end up with 4-6 fewer wins than we should have

Hurray for development! Isaac plays his role so well even if his role doesnt expand by much I'm still super satisfied with the pick.

Because we've had a 24 game sample now where we've been the best defensive team in the league and a 75 game sample where we're just a shade outside of a top 5 defense.

So it's tough to argue you can't build a good defense around vucevic when we already have.

The playoffs are played differently than the regular season. People argue if you can play gobert in the playoffs because Houston just got him to switch on to harden constantly and harden just ate him alive. The defensive player of the year couldn't defend well enough to be useful in that series.

So it seems counterintuitive but it does matter because games are played differently. Most of the season we've just played our brand of basketball no matter the opponent. The playoffs we'll prepare more specifically for the team we're facing.

And the defend well 3 games defend poorly 2 thing can't really happen. Either he's capable or he's not. Vucevic defending on the perimeter will either create a systemic breakdown of our defense or it won't. And it will be obvious.

When we roll out the DJ, Ross, Evan, AG, Isaac lineup I'll probably RIP my shirt off

Those rebounding numbers are always skewed because both Gordon and vucevic tip putbacks 3 or 4 times on one play. Tips used to be counted as offensive rebounds only if they were made baskets (because the offensive player doesn't have possession). Some time recently that changed.

I don't like it. Really kills guys field goal percentage.

Especially AG who is fighting a stigma
