1 pointSeeing people say Cleveland threw their game tonight to avoid Miami/Philly and get us in round 1. Use that as motivation.
-
1 pointThat will give us a nice break to heal up and rejuvenate. Need to snag at least one win in the first two games. If we play with this intensity and focus we are a legit contender. Especially Paolo and Franz as the leaders of the team. They had that junkyard dog and eye of the tiger mentality today.

1 pointThis is Us! Breathe and Believe Magic Fans! So proud of the team! Especially Paolo. He stepped up today. Everyone did. I am actually a little choked up. To see how far we've come. It's a beautiful thing to watch. When we play this way I truly believe we can beat anyone, anytime, any place.

1 pointi bet the Knicks looking at the score and will loose. It would be kinda stupid not to.. It’s first round matchup vs Miami/ Philly or vs Pacers

1 pointThis is the team that makes you feel like they can win every game. I don't know who that other team has been the last few games but this is my *****ing Magic team.

1 pointFranz hits the hardest three lol I’m glad I called him out in the second!
-
1 pointJI and Suggs on the court together for extended minutes is what this team has been missing all year. I hope JI can stay healthy because he’s a game changer on defense and his offensive game is starting to look like it was pre injury.

1 pointDo you understand we don't have unlimited time outs? You have to manage when you use them.

1 pointMagic Fans I believe that we will know in the first 5 minutes of the game later today whether or not there is any chance for victory. If we come out flat and play poorly defensively then I think it will more than likely be a loss. A lot of it is in the body language. I believe a read an earlier post from someone here stating that Paolo can get rather moody and dejected on the court which tends to bring other teammates down. He needs to step up and be a positive leader as he is the best player on the team. There needs to be a more positive vibe. When we are playing tough hardnosed defense with everyone fired up then there is a great chance to win. This is especially important because it leads to opponents' turnovers which helps generate our offense. Someone asked me yesterday that if the Magic were to end the season on a 6-game losing streak (last 4 reg season, and 2 playin games) would I still consider the season to be an overall success? At first I was going to say no. But then after thinking about it I realized that these are very young players who are just getting their feet wet when it comes to playoff pressure. Also have to consider that we won 46 or (hopefully)47 games without any kind of 3-point shooting. Also, no clear-cut point guard. With that being said I would still consider it to be a successful season even if it were to end with no more wins in the last 3 games. If management gets us a semi elite point guard and one or two shooters then we become a 55 plus win team and a more serious contender.

1 pointBeating only bad teams would be ok for the kind of team we're now, the problem is we lost two key games recently against losing teams with nothing to play for. But I'll trust Jay: we can't beat any winning team, but we'll make it to the conference finals!
-
1 pointI can't remember whether my prediction for this season was 40 or 42 wins, but either way we exceeded my expectations. I'm confident that management will take action this off-season and gets us the shooter(s) we need to take the next step.
-
1 pointWe have been asking for shooters since Stan left it’s been a long *****ing time. I’m not holding my breath. But we can hope.

1 pointIt’s getting old but i don’t matter to call out the same mistakes all over again.. Not the root cause of our lost, but still an important one. Mosley doesn’t know when to effectively call timeouts. It stands out and it hurts the game. Let Philly go to a 7 point lead before calling a timeout to start the game. And the problem is that it wasn’t a fluke 7 point lead, it was that Philly was playing good and we had no answers to stop them and had no clue on offense. What does that do? It makes the team play catchup against one of the best teams in the NBA. So entire first half we play catchup. We start the second half and coach let Philly go on another 7-10 point run before calling a timeout. Now we are playing catchup on a 14 point Philly lead. I don’t know. It’s just not for me. I watch a lot of Euroleague ball, a lot of legendary coaches. That’s a beginners mistake and usually just doesn’t happen. And i got news for the young team. They still don’t know what the playoffs feel like. And they only will know if Milwaukee wants them too. Disappointing ending to a mostly great season. Wake-up call and humbling as well. I hope management make the right conclusions and won’t be hesitant. If they had made the move at the deadline, we’d be a playoff team for sure. The move for Murray was right there. We could have at least added shooters to spread out the floor. Didn’t happen, so we struggle.. All the other teams had moves that helped them make a push for the playoffs. Indiana, Philly, Knicks made moves to make the playoffs and ultimately they did. Miami made a move and it got them a great push for the playoffs.

1 pointDisappointing but not surprising. At this point it seems we can only beat bad teams. It is possible that the game Sunday won’t matter for Milwaukee. If that happens they might rest everyone so we get the win.
