**ADDENDUM: ORLANDO HOSTS NEUTRAL SITE GAMES**

On Friday, February 27 (when we play the Pistons in DC), Amway Arena hosts the Bucks and Hornets at 7 pm. See link: http://www.nba.com/bucks/schedule/ (the 6 pm is for Milwaukee time, I believe, which is an hour off of EST.)

On Wed, April 15 (when we play our season finale versus the Bobcats in Chicago), LeBron and the Cavs will play Elton Brand and the 76ers at Amway Arena at 8 pm. http://www.nba.com/cavaliers/schedule/

***UPDATE TO ADDENDUM***

The NBA has removed all of these "neutral site" games from the schedule of all 30 teams, including the Magic's schedule. In addition, TrueHoop writer Henry has confirmed that these neutral site locations were an error: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/truehoop/0-33-145/NBA--No-Ne...espite-Schedule.html

The NBA blames a "technical glitch", for what it's worth...

Oh, and 11 national TV appearances on TNT or ESPN - not bad! That Christmas Day matchup versus the Hornets will be on ESPN!

Wednesday November 12, @ Seattle.......

What are we going to be doing in Seattle? Go have some coffee?

And what is up with playing in neutral areas? We play Detroit in DC, and our last game is against Charlotte in Chicago. Is that new?

Quite interesting - we have a 5 game homestand in November, right after our first two games in October. Then look at December - after the first 3 games, we have a five game West Coast trip, then a 4 game homestand (against all West coast teams), and then a 3 game road trip...

This schedule is good. There's 19 home games and 22 away games in the first half, then theres 22 home games and 19 away games in the second half. Looks like we'll be finishing strong next season.

And I haven't heard of the league playing those games in neutral areas before. I wonder if other teams have such games as well? (time to check!)

Hmm - looks like they're sparse, but they're in there. The Pistons, for example, play their season finale against the Heat (http://www.nba.com/pistons/schedule/), but in the OTHER American Airlines Arena/Center - the one in Dallas, not in Miami. Interesting; I wonder what the league's official explanation for this is.

not to mention our last 5 games may be against non playoff teams. They might have already shut down so we can take advantage to solidify our seeding.
