just wanted to let ya'll know i made it safely to baghram airbase in afghanistan earlier and will be here a couple days before i ship out. looking forward to hearing about the draft and i hope we get a good pick! the Magic fleece blanket wouldn't fit in my kit so i'm having the wife send it to me. hope all is well and whenever i can (probably won't be too often), i'll be on here posting....

Solution, my thoughts are with your grandson and family as well. Its a tough deal for a parent watch their child or grandchild go into war, and I wish you as many peaceful nights as you can get.

Thanks, Kevin is training in Hawaii(not bad) in preparation for deployment. He is responsible for servicing tankers and delivery of fuel. A extremely dangerous duty.
