The Truth Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 The Truth will be in the building. Yes my followers, The Truth is going to be able to get out of work alittle early to make it to the game on time so you all do not have to fear. Now on to The Truth's analysis for the game. The Truth never wishes an injury on anyone...aside from maybe DS but The Truth wouldn't mind if Chauncy didn't play...and if he can go, Jameer needs to attack attack attack and maybe tweak Billups' hammy again. And THANK YOU Knappy for finally, or from the post I saw acknowledging the promise of Jameer. Yes, National Player of the Year, the leader of a 2 loss Elite Eight mid major Jameer Nelson. The same guy most all of you hated on...and The Truth doesn't want to use the word hated but had to...is THE MOST CLUTCH player on this team. The other would be JJ I Never See The Light at the end of the Bench Redick...in college anyway. Anyhow, The Truth hopes to see the building rocking and The Truth hopes to leave the Orena at about 7:30 with the series tied 2-2. The Truth...Section 225. Quote

The Truth Posted May 9, 2008 Author Report Posted May 9, 2008 The Truth appreciates all the kind words...The Truth understands the hate. The Truth offers this up for people...hate that The Truth is a visionary...hate that The Truth knows what The Truth is talking about...hate that The Truth got DS run out of town...hate that The Truth helped to build this messege board...hate that The Truth talks about The Truth in the 3rd person...and hate that The Truth is loved for the exact same reasons. Mr Charisma Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Well, Truth, I'm going to say that I actually hope Billups does play, because you can almost be assured of 1 of 2 things happening. 1) He aggravates the injury, basically handing the Magic a free ticket to the ECF, or 2) He plays gimpy, and Jameer drives by him on virtually every possession. Win/Win Quote
DwightHoward1880 Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 anyone who refers to themselves in the third person shopuld have a background check done because there's a likely probability they might be on a sexual predator list in their home state.go magic! and chris hansen! Quote

I believe, and correct me if I am wrong, but to my understanding the Magic have never lost a game when the Truth has been in the building. That stellar undefeated streak, I think, in part comes from the pre-game pep-talk and strategy session that the Truth imparts to the players and with the promise of a fantasitc BBQ to follow including jet skiing with a Magic win. Win/Win Detroit is good enough to win without Chauncy, but it would be a big hit on him, but I wouldn't underestimate them. Knappy, does pick the Magic in game 4 in a close game - Knappy would prefer a blowout, but what can you do - they are a good team. Game 5 gets interesting - Knappy is no longer willing to stand by his prediction of Detroit in 6 or 7 games - he is now, because of game 2, end of third quarter f-up by the NBA and the officials, thinking that the Magic have a changed attitude of being pissed off rather than looking up to the Pistons and Knappy said that the series with the Pistons was all mental for the Magic. LOL. "Free ticket" was probably a tad extreme.... Quote
