My two scents is that the magic, cant decide on what to do on their point guard issue. First they should define the type of game they would like to play. Is it the fast or running game or the coaches slow planned game. SVG has to decide the indicision makes for a troubled bunch of players who are always looking over their shoulder to see what the coach wants instead of flowing with the game as it goes. sometimes to much coaching is disaster for a loss. i belive carlos should go to a team that can appreciate what he has to offer and let nelson and dooling be the magics point guard. I hate watching Carlos scrounging for playing time he deserves better, and elson and dooling do too. im a Carlos fan put me in front of a firing squad for that. But im tired of the small chances given to Carlos. Like the other guy says free Carlos and let him shine! ooops that was me!

* Sigh.

Okay, no: Carlos and Jameer play well together, play well off each other, and both have been pretty good this year.

I just want to say your sig is totally funny.

For those who don't know, Picante = Hot....

LOL....

Besides that, I don't think you will have a good welcome, but it could be better than some weeks ago maybe. If I think about Carlos, I could think of him shining and want him on another team. But at the same time, ORL is a very promising team and if he wants to go all the way to a championship he probably needs to stay, as ORL has the potential to get there soon. Add that he likes the place and all that.

I think he may be up to a hard decision this summer, if he gets an offer from the team that is.

carlos is decent but it all comes down to money. magic have invested too much in jameer for pg to be able to give carlos what he would want. as much as carlos likes being here, i dont see how we can afford him.

What we do with Carlos is based on a number of things. I think he has some value, lol, but not much! I just don't rate this player 'in this league'.

Its not a slight against CA, but I honestly dont see Arroyo pulling more than 2-2.5 mil year contract anywhere. At that price we keep him. Offer him a 3 year 6 mil and keep him for the long haul

I have always said that I think Arroyo could be willing to take less money than the 4 million a year he is making right now, just to remain a Magic ( He has expressed this desire many times.) and finish his career here in Magic uniform. However, what would happen if some other team out there offers him more than what the Magic are willing to offer, would Carlos go for it? I do not know, maybe it all depends on how he is treated by the Magic organization, his coach and the fans for the rest of this season.

We'll see!

I think it all comes down to what his role with the team will be. I think he is willing to be a backup in Orlando if he will be the second option. I don't think he wants to be the third PG, and I don't blame him. A third string PG is usually a rookie or an NBDL guy making 600,000 a year(which is still darn good, lol)

There's a few factors. If he is offered a starting job somewhere, more than likely he will go. But if his options are all being a #2 PG and we offer him something he will want to stay put...

But it will also depend on Dooling and what we do with him. Stan likes him, I like him, but I rather see him as a SG.

You are right, and that is what I meant when I asked... " However, what would happen if some other team out there offers him more than what the Magic are willing to offer, would Carlos go for it?" I do not think he would want to stay if all he is offered is a third string PG spot with the team. However , I do not think that would happen, he clearly deserves to be (at least) the backup PG. As a Matter of fact, I think it would be a huge mistake (going into the playoffs)if SVG decides not have Arroyo as the backup PG for the rest of the games.
